The Heather fields will soon have colors
We made a 2 hours walk in Baraggia, a natural reserve near where we live.
( we made 500 photos, 2 cameras..)
Everybody who cames here, call the Baraggia a Savannah.

Is it a Diorama/Room box or Furniture ? Sort of both I guess. A 1/6 Scale Nook Bed with double walk-in closets. Mirror lined, brass wardrobe poles and most important a SHOE WALL with tilted shelves that will holds a ton of Pumps !
A walk in the Amerongse Bos.
Het Amerongse Bos is één van de oudste bossen op de Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Dat is op zichzelf niet zo bijzonder omdat de meeste bossen op de Heuvelrug pas ongeveer honderd jaar oud zijn. Het Amerongse Bos steekt hier echter met kop en schouders bovenuit: sommige grove dennen dateren uit 1770. Het bos dankt zijn leeftijd aan de kasteelheren van het in de Amerongse Bovenpolder gelegen kasteel Amerongen. Zij lieten het bos aanleggen om er te kunnen jagen. Naast zijn ouderdom heeft het Amerongse Bos nóg een bijzonderheid. Het bos ligt namelijk op de 69 meter hoge Amerongse Berg, het hoogste punt van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

The Quiraing Walk:
The name already sounds like a place from a fantasy novel - and the reality is just as incredible. Such wildness, such beauty...
From the very start at the car park you realise you’re in for something special, as can see impressive views looking north at the ‘Prison’ (the rocky peak) and the high cliff faces.
The Quiraing is the largest landslide in Britain, but it is not a torrential rain-induced landslides. It’s part of something much larger, immense in size.
The weight of all volcanic rock, formed 50million years ago, slowly took its toll on the weaker Jurassic sedimentary rock below, which fractured and broke under the strain, and volcanic rock have been slipped down the hillside; this process is still going.

This picture is part of a series of forest and hiking themed pictures I've been capturing during the COVID-19 pandemic. In Finland restrictions on moving outdoors have been relatively minor and people have started to explore various hiking paths and nature reservations instead of going to the city.

Today my wife and I did the Seven Bridges walk in Sydney. From Milsons Point across the major harbour crossing bridges to Hunters Hill. 17 km taking in: Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, Anzac Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge and Fig Tree Brigde.
(There was an extra 10km on offer without any bridges, but we declined that offer!)
What a great way to view this great harbour of ours and experience the variation in surrounds and lifestyles.

A.k.a. Dave. He is a sweet faced doggie we see occasionally on our walks in the neighborhood. He has these sad eyes, and large paws hanging off a couch in the window. We named him Pete - we met him with his owners once later and found out his real name was Dave, and he is deaf. Anyway, I haven't seen him since Michael left last Tuesday, and I was very happy to see him today. He even followed us to the second window at his house :-)
First Friday Art Walk in Downtown Baker City Oregon
Celebrating the arts during the First Friday Art Walk in historic downtown Baker City, Oregon, multiple gallery openings, and just exploring downtown Baker City's amazing architecture.
The First Friday Art Walk is one of numerous events celebrating the arts throughout Baker County. Other events include the Baker Open Artists Studio Tour in October, the monthly Thursday Art Night at the historic Eltrym Theater, the We Like ‘em Short Film Festival in August, and the Great Salt Lick Art Auction in September.
Visitors will find numerous art galleries throughout Baker City’s historic downtown including the Crossroads Carnegie Art center in the restored Carnegie Library building.
