Central Park was looking particularly Autumnal this past weekend. Probably the last really great weekend for Fall foliage here.
I took a nighttime walk in downtown Palo Alto, Calif., last night. Passing the transit center, a train from San Francisco to San Jose was arriving.
Quickly lifting my camera, I took a grab shot. There was no time to adjust settings, so I just went with the existing f4 and 1/25 sec. the camera gave me. Thank goodness for the tech of image stabilization, or else the rider would have been blurry. The hands aren't steady enough to handhold sharply at that shutter speed.
