Polaroidweek: Day 6, Photo 1: Shot during the San Francisco Instant Photo Walk in January in the Dogpatch neighborhood. Added a blue filter and a blur filter to the Polaroid I-2 camera for this one. The next S.F. photo walk is Sunday in North Beach
instead of walking along the road, I walked along the edge of this harvested field...... enjoying the subdued colour and morning light.
Eventually I found paths through the woods, along the usual trails....
I am doing a fair amount of posting, as we are going away for a while later this week...and then the photos will cease for a while, as I do not have a laptop...( but I will be shooting, of course)
Geese family in evening walk in sunset at the lake.
I have taken some pictures with my brand new camera on the lake to explore its features and I wanted to get some more feeling about its possibilities and its handling.
My first mistake and lesson: Before I'm begining the shooting, I always have to clean lenses! Otherwise I have a lot of work with Gimp after the shooting... :-(
For this shooting I have used a tripod and I have switched off the SteadyShot feature.
Photography during a walk in Sana'a.
Sana'a is the capital of Yemen and one of the most fascinating in the Arab world with its unique architecture, bustling souqs, friendly inhabitants and lack of tourists.
I'm really at a loss for words tonight. I am sleepy and have had a lot of "day job" shoots. I am looking forward to the weekend so I can do some non medical fun photo taking.
We did the famous Overland Track - a six-day walk - in Tasmania, and one morning woke up to thick fog. The morning sun was just starting to burn it off as we walked into this forest.
In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth.

I believe this is the hardest puzzle I have ever put together. I had wanted to put this together for some years but I didn't have enough room at home (1500 pcs.) so I took it to the local library. There I completed only about half of it, but it was so hard! I would look and look for pieces and believe they were missing (puzzle was from a thrift store), only to have the pieces just show up later.
This is the best picture I could get at the library, and I used the Sunrise filter here in the photo editor.
