I like all kinds of outfits... formal, casual,.. something for every occasion. One thing that most of my outfits have in common.. is that they're quite simple and straightforward,.. just like this oufit here. A simple dress and a pair of simple heels.
The only thing of course with me.. is that I am, once again, unsure what colour dress this is supposed to be. It says pink, but I've learned that there are colours like fuchsia or coral. I know it's not purple this time! :-P

One of two photos taken on my morning walk in the Humber Bay Park W. This one shows a swan eating duckweed, I believe it is, in a little waterway that links to Lake Ontario. Best seen large by clicking on the photo.

Taizō-in (退蔵院?) is the oldest sub-temple (tatchū (塔頭?)) of the Myōshin-ji Rinzai Zen Buddhist temple, situated in the northwest of Kyoto, Japan. It was founded by Zen priest Muinsoin in 1404. The original temple buildings were burned during the Ōnin War (1467-1477), and were later rebuilt.
Taizō-in is well known for its two gardens. The main garden, Motonobu-no-niwa, is a traditional Japanese dry landscape garden (karesansui), containing several angular rocks suggesting the cliffs of the island of Hōrai, with smaller stones suggesting a stream. The planting is mostly evergreen, including camellia, pine, and Japanese umbrella pine. It covers 50 tsubo (170 m²) and was designed to integrate a borrowing of scenery ("shakkei") of a view of Narabigaoka Hill in the distance. It is thought to be the final work of Muromachi painter Kanō Motonobu (狩野 元信), reproducing one of his paintings in three dimensions.
A new pond garden, or yoko-en, was designed by Kinsaku Nakane in 1963-1966. The new garden is large enough for visitors to walk in, and contains azaleas and a stream that cascades along the main axis, directly toward the main viewing position. The stream flows around rocks, gradually widening until it empties into a pool in front of the viewer. (Wikipedia)

A strong wind and a sunset that didn't last long. Really glad I made it to do this one. A view that took me 2 hours to drive. Luckaly I had a friend with me for company.
This beach is in The Hague, The Nether of Dutchylands politic capital.

oh my, my facial expression seems bit serious. My eyes looked sharped (Was I staring at the camera?....or was I trying to look cool?? )
Morning walk in the Punit Van, Gandhingar. The rainy season had added green color all around and the overcast sky ensured that there were no harsh shadows. The Sigma Art 50mm 1.4 lens made my wife stand out against the greenery.
The situation in Ukraine became dire when Russia launched an attack, forcing many Russians who opposed Putin and refused to join the army to flee the country. Fortunately, my friends and I were lucky enough to have Jewish heritage., which enabled us to repatriate to Israel. We met in Haifa, where we are all struggling to adjust to our new lives. While we are grateful to be safe, we are also aware of the uncertainty that lies ahead.
As a new immigrant, I am faced with the challenge of finding employment while learning Hebrew. Meanwhile, my friends have just graduated from university and are contemplating their next steps in this unfamiliar territory. Forced emigration is never easy, but we are determined to make the best of our situation and move forward.
Despite the challenges we face, we take comfort in the fact that life goes on. We continue to persevere and embrace our new reality, with hope and optimism for what the future may hold.
While life in forced emigration is far from easy, we are doing our best to adapt and carry on. The mother of one of these boys asked me to take a photo of her son and his friend, which serves as a reminder that even amidst hardship, moments of connection and joy can still be found.
