Today was a perfect day for a walk in our nearby forest in Ocala, FL. and experience nature first hand.
The key to a winter walk is keep moving past the bench .... if you want to stay warm. It's a lovely day today .... only -11C (12F) and the sun is shining ... perfect for a stroll through the park!
I spent a few hours wandering around the trails in Golden Ears Provincial Park. This is a typical West Coast Rain Forest. As we had some heavy rains a few days before , I thought I would go looking for some mushrooms to photograph. There were a few but it's still early in the month for that. It was a very pleasant day with hardly anyone around. Black bears, cougars, coyotes , and other animals are here but I did not see any .

I swear it's not fog. We were sitting on the beach, a cloud moved towards us over the sea on the lovely sunny day and that was it - inside a cloud, on the ground. It was cool at first...but then it made us go home early.

This picture is part of a series of forest and hiking themed pictures I've been capturing during the COVID-19 pandemic. In Finland restrictions on moving outdoors have been relatively minor and people have started to explore various hiking paths and nature reservations instead of going to the city.
