"A walk in the park
I've got to get some sense back into my head
I'm in the dark and I can't see where I am being led
I'd give the world to set the clock back and act like a man
Where can I turn to save myself from this confusion
A walk in the park, a step in the dark
A walk in the park, a trip in the dark
I'm getting away escaping today
A walk in the park
Away from all the busy streets of my mind
I seek a straighter path
I seek a shady glade in which to unwind
But why do we go on in spite of mistakes, in spite of destruction
Life can be fun depending on your situation.
A walk in the park, a step in the dark
A walk in the park, a trip in the dark
I'm getting away escaping today"

A walk in the park
On a recent holiday in Hervey Bay, Queensland spotted this lone figure and his two dogs on the beach.
...One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.
~ Lord Byron

Sometime a photographer just needs to walk in the street to found a good light, a good place or a good thing to make a picture...

Dance on the clouds above,
Take a walk up in the sky,
Feel as free as the birds flying with us,
Up in the clouds so high.
I held back the tears that I felt,
For the others just couldn`t see,
The excitement deep within my heart,
For my dream now had become a reality.
I ask for happiness and health,
For everyone each day,
I make wishes for peace amongst man,
In each and every way.
Such few dreams as a child,
I pray to have come true ,
One was walking in the clouds,
As I snuggled close to you.
Summertime is the time to be out. So I went out for a walk in the woods with my dog and made some pictures - like this pond.

Walk in the woods at Royal Roads, Victoria, BC. Royal Roads is a 600 acre site **originally owned by Vancouver Island coal baron James Dunsmuir. The former Premier of B.C. also built the famous Hatley Castle on this property as one of his residences, the other being Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria city. ** The land was in all likelihood, before white man came to Vancouver Island, part of the Coast Salish Nation, a cultural subgroup of the First Nations of British Columbia.
