Re-THINGing Gesture in Contemporary Sculpture Practice displayed at Esplanade Jendela (Visual Art Space).
Outlook WebApp is the updated version of the Outlook webmail UI. After years with the clunky old version I was looking forward to improvements.
It's generally better, except for one deceptively small but surprisingly important aspect: Every time you want to add a recipient to an email, it takes you to a new screen where you have to repeat the above process for every person you wish to add.
It actually looks more simple than it is in this illustration. In reality steps are further broken by page reload (so you dont' really know where you are suppose to be looking at next). Not to mention this is completely de-contextualized from the email you were initially writing. It took me several puzzled tries to figure out that once on this screen I had to go outside the core application area and start with the search box at the top.
At least in the old version, you opened a new email, clicked on [TO] and a pop-up would appear where these things were take place (without all the reloading and poor layout and awkward element placement). Not beautiful or fancy in any way, but much more elegant solution because I DIDN'T HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THIS.

Examining the central visual field (VF) grey scale of the right eye alone may be confusing, as there is no specific pattern to the field defect. However, looking at the two grey scales together reveals a left central field defect, signifying optic neuritis. In this case, looking at the rest of the printout data (statistical package) may be useless, as it is designed to analyse glaucoma defects only.

Os funcionários dos trailers de São João Del Rei, reuniram-se na Av. Leite Castro na noite do dia 31 de Março deste ano, noite que marcava os 50 anos da Revolução Redentora dos Militares.
Capitaneados pelos proprietários dos trailers, 125 pessoas manifestaram a favor da permanência dos equipamentos e instalações comerciais, dando ênfase à manutenção de centenas de empregos.
Na opinião dos moradores da Av. Leite de Castro, o comércio de fast-food é de suma importância para prevenir a marginalidade e proteger os praticantes de caminhadas na via pública.
O Ministério Público do Estado de Minas Gerais, obrigou o Ex- Prefeito Municipal Nivaldo José de Andrade à assinar um Tac - Termo de Ajustamento de Conduta, com prazo de 5 anos que expira hoje 31 de Março de 2014. É bom esclarecer que obrigou é modo de dizer; Nivaldo já com muitos processos na justiça, ficou com receio de não assinar o TAC em questão.
Nivaldo teve 4 anos para regulamentar a matéria, tempo suficiente para adequar os equipamentos arquitetônicos, resolvendo de vez esta questão. Com a inoperância do alcaide, não foi solucionado o problema.
Nivaldo, não dando importância ao compromisso assinado com o Ministério Público, não imaginou que centenas de funcionários ficariam desempregados. Fornecedores não mais forneceriam seus produtos para os comerciantes, moto-taxistas não teriam mais corridas para entregar os lanches, e principalmente, nas madrugadas, os visitantes e a comunidade sanjoanese ficaria sem opção para alimentação.
Hoje a atual administração terá a obrigação de resolver este problema, adequar arquitetonicamente os quiosques para atender à exigência do Ministério Público Estadual.
O Promotor Rodrigo de Ferreira Barros, dando um de salvador visual arquitetônico colonial de São João Del Rei, entrou com inúmeras ações contra o Poder Público e empresários. O Promotor deveria antes de convocar os proprietário dos trailers à assinarem o TAC, apresentar soluções adequadas para evitar este possível caos no mercado de trabalho na cidade, sendo que, na assinatura do referido documento, os empreendedores tiveram que regularizar sua situação fiscal e trabalhista de seus empreendimentos.
O documento assinado perante o Ministério Público inicia amanhã 1º de Abril: DIA DA MENTIRA.

This first brief requires you to play on the idea of gender reversal and visual puns. The brief is set to challenge and enhance work that you have created within your vintage-themed personal ‘style’ in the past. Themes of irony should run through a series of four images which are displayed collectively on one final piece to be submitted. You should interpret the brief in relation and response to recent practitioner’s work of a similar style.
Amongst other practisioners, I looked at the work of YBA's; Tracy Emin and Sarah Lucas for inspiration.
Each of the four images I created is based on or around a visual pun and/or gender reversal.
A festive shop of gorgeous books in a mid-century Førest, dreamed up by Sabrina Lee Hammon.
If Visual Editions grew trees, they would be covered in fluorescent wool, with books falling from the trees like ripe fruits ripe for giving.
A festive December shop of great looking stories, where the Førest fairies never bite.
