As a visual vector I feel this line really help draw you forward. The line of people waling into the distance carries the eyes to the edge of the frame. Our eyes are instantly drawn across the edge of the hill into the tree branches moving person to person and seeing the movement that they are making, i.e the girl jumping

Wanting to then develop the sketches further still I did some research into colour charts and contrasting colours to add more atmosphere.
I had seen a graphic artist using paint-splats before so trialled incorporating them into the design. I felt the splat added much more emphasis and dramatics to the piece so it became a fixed development.
