This very charming city car is part of the Shuttleworth Collection. Displayed here at the Flying Festival 2019 at Old Warden Airfield.
The Fiat Topolino was produced from the mid 1930's until the mid 1950's, with upgrades along the way.

A rare cast iron fountain with lamp posts. It dates from 1888 and was originally located in the town centre to mark Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee of 1887. It was moved to Lurgan Park in the 1920's to make way for a war memorial which still stands on the original footprint.

Bride getting henna tattoos on her hand and arm during pre-wedding ceremonies in Punjab.
Mehndi ceremony, where the bride's hands, arms and legs are covered in henna tattoos, is one of the most looked-forward-to ceremony for the bride and her female relatives and friends.

This spot was a courtyard we discovered beside a huge soccer game, that had a bunch of youth playing basketball with the soccer ball. The whole scene just caught my eye.

The short lived Thamesway name from the 1990's. In the area covered by this timetable the Badgerline Group's Thamesway operation took over the old Eastern National routes. Thamesway became First Thamesway in the late 1990's before being superceded by First Essex.

History going back to the 12th century when Cluniac Monks established a monastery here. Suffered during Henry VIII's dissolution and was passed in to private ownership, noteably the Scratton family. Now the centre piece within Priory Park which was presented to the Borough of Southend-On-Sea as a gift from prominent local businessman R.A. Jones early in the 1920's.
A quick snapshot of AY67 PXM getting close to the end of its journey from Chelmsford, winding through villages away the main road, to Southend-On-Sea, Essex.

Work in progress to create a better pedestrian area around Tindal Square near the Shire Hall.
The Grade II listed statue is of Judge Nicholas Conyngham Tindal which dates from 1850.
N877MG at the Flying Festival 2019 held at Old Warden Airfield by the Shuttleworth Collection.
This Dakota was one of seven D-Day Squadron aircraft at the event. Some, like N877MG, were allowing the general public to view the aircraft from inside.
N877MG saw wartime service on the China-Burma-India supply route. She is currently in the livery representing a Pan American Airways aircraft from 1949.

Just off Shaftesbury Avenue in the West End is this theatre that opened in November 1916. St Martin's Theatre is famed for hosting the long running production of The Mousetrap since March 1974. Previously The Mousetrap had been at Ambassadors theatre, a smaller theatre that opened in 1913, right next door to the St Martin's Theatre.. The Mousetrap ran at the Ambassadors from 1952 until early 1974.

Median Egret is found mostly around inland freshwater bodies, and is rarely seen in coastal habitats.

Invest Mobile en Toerisme Knokke-Heist slaan de handen in elkaar voor de lancering van de applicatie Distrimob. De Distrimob-app komt er ter ondersteuning van de gratis, elektrische shopping shuttle die de belangrijkste winkelstraten van de kustgemeente met elkaar verbindt.
De shopping shuttle rijdt dagelijks, om de twintig minuten, tussen 11 uur en 19 uur. Het laatste vertrek is om 18.30 uur aan halte A. Verweeplein. Met de lancering van de Distrimob-app wordt het nog makkelijker om de dichtstbijzijnde halte te bepalen, je traject en het vertrekuur. Bovendien ontdek je terwijl de belangrijkste evenementen en de openbare faciliteiten bij jou in de buurt.
Komt jouw busje zo? De shopping shuttle vertelt het je. Je kan namelijk live de shuttle volgen zodat je perfect weet hoeveel winkeltijd je nog hebt voordat de volgende shuttle arriveert. De applicatie kadert in het duurzaam en optimaal gebruik van de elektrische shuttles om bezoekers eenvoudig en gebruiksvriendelijk te vervoeren naar de gewenste locatie.
