Rochford Hundred Agricultural Society's 2019 ploughing match held at Hall Farm, Little Stambridge Hall Lane near Rochford, Essex.
The former Stambridge Fisheries and tearoom that reinvented itself a few years ago now.
Would be nice if the tearoom was twice as big to cope with customer demand.
To look at a thing with no malice, ill will, or prejudice that is a child’s superpower . As an adult do you still hold on to some childlike characteristics? 😊👌✌️
Built in 1943 to help combat the threat of Luftwaffe air raids and E-boat attacks in the Thames Estuary. They were also successful in shooting down V1 flying bombs. Maintained by the military until the late 1950's. In the 1960's the pirate radio station Radio Invicta was based here.

A very small town with under 2,000 inhabitants deep in a valley of the Ardennes with the Our River flowing through it. About a third of the land area of Luxembourg is covered by trees.

This little lady broke through a dilapidated wooden fence, scrambled over a low chain link wire fence and ended up in our garden whilst her owners were away. I think that she enjoyed her few hours with us until the housesitter came to reclaim her.

Hall Street Methodist Church, Moulsham, Chelmsford, Essex.
The Primitive Methodist movement became part of the Methodist Union in 1932. The Essex Record Office has a file for minutes of meeting from this Church starting in 1863, so I guess that is probably when it was built.

The face has a story to tell, of perseverance, determination and strength of conviction.
This motor scooter has a 125cc engine for power. The Series II Li models gained a headlamp that moved with the steering instead of the fixed headlamp in the short lived Series I model,1958-59. The Lambretta Series II was replaced in 1961 by the much more streamlined Series III range.
I remember back in the 1960's the Series II models looked instantly old fashioned when in the company of Series III versions. But now the early Li models seem to have more charm about them than the later types. Probably just me getting old.
The most beautiful things in nature alot times are tiny and overlooked🙌. . V is for #vic2orious 😁 . It all about perspective. A duck feather floating in water , flipped 90 degrees clockwise.

A nice history attached to this Jeep. This vehicle was donated to the Red Cross Home for Officers in Sorrento, Italy during the autumn of 1943. It was done on the orders of the United States General Mark Clark after he found there was a need for transport at the home. I believe there was also a trailer for the Jeep. Towards the end of the war and soon after, the Red Cross Jeep was being used in Austria when it was declared surplus to requirements. It was somehow optained by one of its former drivers who drove it from Austria to the UK during 1946.
Exploring Inside Reichenstien Castle located in the Rhine Valley Germany. I came across this cool spiral staircase. Doesn’t it remind you of the 🌀Gold ratio symbol?

View from a cross channel ferry approaching Dover. The 3 towers are remnants of 4 radar towers that played an important role during the Battle of Britain and beyond. They still had a military role during the Cold War era. Sadly they did not have listed structure protection and one tower was demolished during 2010. At least one of the remaining 3 towers would appear to now have Grade II listed status. There are other related structures on the site that now also have listed building protection. The 3 towers are still in commerical use and quite likely military as well I would think.
Families of migrant workers waiting in Ludhiana, Punjab to be medically screened so that they can board trains back to their home states during COVID-19 lockdown.
Some are taking back possessions and memories of a better life made in "the land of plenty"; others are leaving with nothing but destitution and disappointments. The eyes tell differing tales: of hope and anticipation for the former, and of fear and uncertainty for the latter.
AR501 taxiing out to the holding area before taking to the air for an excellent display, partly in the company of a Gloster Gladiator Mk1.
This was at the Flying Festival 2019 held at Old Warden Airfield by the Shuttleworth Collection.
AR501 saw wartime sevice with 310 (Czech) Squadron. She also featured in the film Battle of Britain ( with elliptical wing tips fitted).
Two restorations seem to have taken place since then. The first one resulting in a return to the skies during 1975. The second done over very many years saw AR501 fly again in 2018. I was lucky enough to see some of this restoration in progress over a couple of much earlier vists to the Shuttleworth Collection hangers.
