Grey Hornbills have become a part of the urban setting around Punjab as they have started to nest in green areas inside cities.
Opened in early 1906 on the then Baker Street and Waterloo Railway which these days is the Bakerloo Line.

Stuck in the steep and narrow streets of Old Manali, the autorickshaw driver was vociferously trying to get things moving. This got the attention of his little passenger who jumped up to have a look at the excitement outside.
I love the curiosity that children show towards everyday life. We adults on the other hand, engrossed within ourselves at most times, hardly register life around us. Being curious and seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary is a challenge I give myself every time I step out to click street shots.
This is the statue within a monument dedicated to the "Soldier King" of Belgium. It is located at Nieuport, Belgium. H.R.H. King Albert I was King of the Belgiums from 1909 until his death in a mountaineering accident in 1934. A popular King who took charge of Belgium military forces during WW1. There was a small area of Belgium that was not occupied by the Germans and King Albert I was acclaimed for defending it whilst also trying to broker a peace deal with Germany. He was not particularly supportive of British or French ideas of how the war should be conducted.

This image was taken during dusk when the macaques were gathering back into their group to be secure for the night.
The famous pleasure pier stretching out in to the Thames Estuary has had a railway since 1892. A tramway is really a better description of it. Recent reports in the local press say that discussion is in progress to replace the two current trains and track that came in to service back in 1986.

This magical scene was created by the setting sun in the background which gave edge-lighting to the bird and its perch.

This model of Mustang seems to have more style than later models. But still not as good as the very early Mustangs in my opinion.

All E-Types are wonderful, but the 4.2 litre Series 1 roadster, like this one, has surely got to be the most desirable.
The Jaguar E-Type, or XK-E, was produced from 1961 until 1975. Developed from the great Jaguar racing cars of the 1950's.
Probably the ultimate sports car of the 1960's.
