EXPLORED!

I know many photographers have taken this type of image...but was another comp on my list that I wanted to try. This was taken from the river front in Windsor, Ontario looking toward Detroit, Michigan.

At about 89,000 miles in diameter, Jupiter could swallow 1,000 Earths. It is the largest planet in the solar system and perhaps the most majestic. Vibrant bands of clouds carried by winds that can exceed 400 mph continuously circle the planet's atmosphere. Such winds sustain spinning anticyclones like the Great Red Spot—a raging storm three and a half times the size of Earth located in Jupiter’s southern hemisphere. In January and February 1979, NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft zoomed toward Jupiter, capturing hundreds of images during its approach. The observations revealed many unique features of the planet that are still being explored to this day. Watch the video (1.usa.gov/1l0JZ9h) to see a time-lapse of Jupiter assembled from images taken by the spacecraft.

A Series Of Eight Works, eight personal visions about our World today ...

The sixth work of this series about our times ...

They came from the East from the Steppes of Altai, attracting others along the way, imposing the terror and fear in the silence of the nights ... burning everything in their path ... others joined, hungry for power ... reigning ancient kingdoms and empires of the past ... even beyond the Atlantic as if a plague it were, devouring the Light and the Hope of Men who stopped believing in love and freedom.

In the beginning the Wolves promise changes and so they did ... they changed our world and ourselves ... to Wolves like them !

One Vision

Queen

I had a dream,

When I was young,

A dream of sweet illusion,

A glimpse of hope and unity,

And visions of one sweet union,

But a cold wind blows,

And a dark rain falls,

And in my heart it shows,

Look what they've done to my dream

Vision,

Give me your hands,

Give me your hearts,

I'm ready,

There's only one direction,

One world and one nation,

Yeah one vision

First of many images we got down at Narooma over the weekend. We went for a "quick drive" into the hills around Tilba, and, four hours later, emerged exhilerated, tired and smiling. What a day we had!!!

So, for the non photographers looking at this, and thinking "Whats he on?", this style of image is called an ICM or, Intentional Camera Movement.

The idea, is to take an image on a slightly slow shutter speed, and move the camera slightly, whilst the camera is taking the image.

The purpose is to ensure the viewer can see what you were looking at at the time of taking the shot, but to present it in an "Arty" (what I call it) form.

I like this one, and I've got a few more to come. I was standing on a dirt road, looking slightly upwards, into the bush, which was being softly backlit by the sun.

Hope you like "One Vision"

Cheers, Mike

Sehr sehenswert!

..plums or daddies dancing in my head. A girl could dream.

Waiting at the Lake Louise Alberta Station for a westbound to clear, this CP stack train reflects in the waters of melted snow piles on May 1, 2006.

Yes, it's a bootleg, but I love it. Impossible to chroma key, but luckily I have another almost-as-good, opaque bootleg for those shots. He's one of my favourite Avengers and the actual minifigure is out of my price range, so this was irresistible.

366/2020 - 2020 Vision ~ 166/366

Meeting up with family for only the second time since February was just wonderful, even if we had to maintain our social distance from each other. We walked in the sunshine in the hills by this reservoir.

I so look forward to the day when we can give them all a hug. Especially the grandchildren!

Stay safe and well everyone.

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated
