I've wanted to put these up but since today's Paul Bettany's 44th birthday, I found it appropriate. Happy birthday, Paul!

Day fifteen of lock-down in the UK
Our daily walk today took us past the church Quiet Garden. Though the churches are currently closed this peaceful garden is still open and available for quiet contemplation and prayer. Their display of Spring flowers is always lovely and this double daffodil caught my eye.
Stay safe and well everyone.
Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated.

Il est encore tôt ce matin
Dans un froid hivernal
J’ai repris mon chemin
Celui d’une balade matinal
J’ai beau ouvrir les yeux
J’ai comme la vision troublée
Pourtant je connais les lieux
Mais ceux-ci sont embrumés
Toi le soleil, tu te caches encore
Alors que nous sommes à l’aube
Viens vite réchauffer mon corps,
Je te vois derrière ses fantômes.
Cet épais brouillard me voile
Le lac et sa faune sauvage
J’attends que le temps dévoile
Le spectacle de ce paysage
Les grands arbres me quêtent
Comme d’immenses sentinelles
Non je ne perdrai pas la tête
Dans cet étrange jeux visuel

BON DIMANCHE à TOUS
EXPLORED!
I know many photographers have taken this type of image...but was another comp on my list that I wanted to try. This was taken from the river front in Windsor, Ontario looking toward Detroit, Michigan.
AI Creation originally on Microsoft Image Creator, uploaded to Nightcafe and running it with the Creative Upscaler.
After this, upscaled again 2x with Windows Photo app, plus color and contrast enhanced.
Milking that prompt for all it is worth - this time on Microsoft Image Creator.
It turned out more colorful than other applications.

At about 89,000 miles in diameter, Jupiter could swallow 1,000 Earths. It is the largest planet in the solar system and perhaps the most majestic. Vibrant bands of clouds carried by winds that can exceed 400 mph continuously circle the planet's atmosphere. Such winds sustain spinning anticyclones like the Great Red Spot—a raging storm three and a half times the size of Earth located in Jupiter’s southern hemisphere. In January and February 1979, NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft zoomed toward Jupiter, capturing hundreds of images during its approach. The observations revealed many unique features of the planet that are still being explored to this day. Watch the video (1.usa.gov/1l0JZ9h) to see a time-lapse of Jupiter assembled from images taken by the spacecraft.

Homeward bound plays in my head every time I'm on the passenger side of my best friend's ride (hah!).
"Tonight I'll sing my songs again."
Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving! I'm forever thankful to have made many friends and acquaintances on Flickr, without whose encouraging words and inspiring works, I would've gotten bored a long time ago.

A somewhat unusual shot for me and an abstraction of a larger interesting object. A wooden bench at the Falls of Falloch in Scotland was pitted with worn areas where bottoms had been - these bottom impressions collected water and made for some interesting reflections of the surrounding trees. Oh, there was a waterfall somewhere nearby too but this caught my attention first. For me it was like looking through a pair of binoculars. Enjoy!

Imagionation is the mother of all possibilities.
(I'm not absolutely sure, but I suppose C. G. Jung said or wrote this once.)

Tenho fases, como a lua.
Fases de andar escondida,
fases de vir para a rua...
Perdição da minha vida!
Perdição da vida minha!
Tenho fases de ser tua,
tenho outras de ser sozinha.
Fases que vão e que vem,
no secreto calendário
que um astrólogo arbitrário
inventou para meu uso.
E roda a melancolia
seu interminável fuso!
Não me encontro com ninguém
(tenho fases, como a lua...)
No dia de alguém ser meu
não é dia de eu ser sua...
E, quando chega esse dia,
o outro desapareceu...
Aquilo que ontem cantava
já não canta.
Morreu de uma flor na boca:
não do espinho na garganta.
