Ognuno di noi sogna di realizzare i propri desideri. Spesso, però, realizzarli non è sempre possibile, e questo è un conto.

A volte però, non si ha il coraggio.

Sognare è bello ma può anche far paura: lasciare un porto sicuro, la terra ferma, per intraprendere un viaggio attraverso un mare che non conosciamo lasciando alle spalle le nostre certezze.

L'Ancienne filature Levavasseur construite en 1857, détruite plusieurs fois par des incendies, puis abandonnée.

La filature de coton était précédemment installée dans l'Abbaye Notre-Dame de Fontaine-Guérard. L'abbaye a servi de carrière de pierre pour permettre la construction de cette filature. Plus d'infos sur wikipédia (fr)

i have been know to use tunnel vision as a coping skill when things weren't going so great....this can be a good thing, as i have been able to redirect my focus during times of tribulations and accomplish things that i was told i could never do...and then other times it henders me greatly....i have a tendency to not tell anyone i am struggling...i especially withhold from the one that is causing me the most strife....i begin to shut down and as the blinders go up, i forgo any and all reality in my peripheral vision.....i see only what i wanna see...but no one can convince me otherwise, for i am the queen of denial....

Fatehpur Sikri è il più tipico esempio di città murata moghul, con aree private e pubbliche ben delimitate e porte di accesso imponenti. La architettura è un misto di stile indù ed islamico e riflette la visione politica e filosofica degli imperatori moghul ed il loro stile di governo. Dopo l'abbandono forzato della città, molti dei palazzi e delle moschee furono saccheggiate; l'attuale stato di conservazione, molto buono, si deve ai lavori di consolidamento iniziati dal viceré Lord Curzon.

Quello che oggi rimane della capitale di Akbar è l'area del palazzo, costituita da numerosi edifici separati, che si affacciano su una piazza molto ampia, e da una vasta moschea, collegata al palazzo.

Vers quatre heures du matin, le 26 février 2020, par ciel variable, je vois brusquement la silhouette d'une barge naviguant sur le fleuve à la hauteur de l'Île-d'Orléans. Elle est enveloppée d'un nuage noir et vaporeux. En quelques instants il ne resta plus de l'étrange navire qu'une faible lueur à l'horizon. L'événement fut consigné dans mon livre de bord et photographié avant sa disparition...
