Here's a short clip from Sally's dance show, which we were invited to. It was a fantastic performance. She put a lot of time and love into this performance and was very nervous. I loved it so much, Sally, you did a really great job! Unfortunately, I couldn't use the original music for the video due to legal issues, but I think I found a good replacement.

I was just looking through my Asha pictures looking for something for Halloween and I came across this wee video which I had forgotten about. It is just a short video showing one of the last tricks I was teaching Asha. Picking up a plush toy from the floor by herself and holding it on command. It just brought back such lovely memories seeing this wee video that I just wanted to share it with Asha's fans in the hope it will bring a smile to their faces too.

It's not often that I post a video, but this morning when I was taking pictures and I was really alone I heard the birds, so I took my phone and filmed so that I could make you hear and enjoy the nature.

I took over 500 pics of the redwoods in Southern Oregon and Northern California but it was this v-short video that best depicted the beauty of the site. You can see the biotic pump in action condensing water from fog into rain…and of course all the beautiful trees!
Temperate rainforests are coniferous or broadleaf forests that occur in the temperate zone and receive heavy rain...the moist conditions of temperate rain forests generally support an understory of mosses, ferns and some shrubs and berries.
Temperate rain forests occur in a variety of regions around the world - the Pacific Northwest of the USA & Canada, the Validivian forests of southwestern South America, New Zealand and Tasmania, the Northeastern Atlantic (small, isolated pockets in Ireland, Scotland, and Iceland), southwestern Japan.
These forests pull in large amounts of water vapor from surrounding regions and from nearby bodies of water. As the vapor condenses into rain, the local atmospheric pressure drops...the whole rainforest-water vapor system is called a biotic pump, because the living forests move the water.
