Make sure you turn on the sound!
The iPhone 6s has two options for slow-mo video built in: 120 fps at 1080p, or 240 fps at 720p.
I shot this video at 1080p and 120fps before realizing the other option was there. The resolution is nice, but the hummingbird is still moving pretty fast at this speed.
However, its still fun to see it calling / screaming even at this speed! They seem to spend half their time and energy trying to scare each other away from the feeders and absolutely refuse to share.

Snowy Owl
The Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus) is a large, white owl of the typical owl family. Snowy Owls are native to Arctic regions in North America and Eurasia. Younger Snowy Owls start with darker plumage, which turns lighter as they get older. Males are almost all white, while females have more flecks of gray plumage.

Contrairement à la robe orangée des autres tigres, celle du tigre blanc ne permet pas à l’animal de se camoufler dans la végétation. Félin solitaire, il ne peut survivre longtemps par lui-même. On n'en trouve donc que quelques-uns dans une réserve en Inde et, en captivité, dans les parcs zoologiques.
Le taux de consanguinité est aujourd'hui tel que la plupart des jeunes naissant leucistes meurent ou ont des problèmes. L'ex Parc des Félins" de Lumigny n'en présentera plus lorsque ses trois derniers tigres blancs auront disparu.

The southern royal albatross or toroa, (Diomedea epomophora) is a large seabird from the albatross family. It has the third largest wingspan of living birds. At an average wingspan of above 3 m (9.8 ft), it is one of the two largest species of albatross, together with the wandering albatross. Recent studies indicate that the southern royal albatross may, on average, be somewhat larger than the wandering albatross in mass and have a similar wingspan, although other sources indicate roughly similar size for the two species and the wandering species may have a larger average (and maximum) wingspan in some colonies.
Most of the royal albatross population is found between 30° S and 45° S. The majority of the world's population of southern royal albatrosses nest on the rat-free subantarctic Campbell Island, around 8,200 to 8,600 pairs. There are smaller colonies on Adams Island and Auckland Island in the Auckland Islands, 20 pairs combined, and 69 pairs on Enderby Island and some sanfordi × epomophora hybrids at the northern royal albatross colony on the Otago Peninsula in New Zealand. It's been a good year for birds breeding in my neighbourhood, so many new little balls of feathers, and a few big ones as well. By no means all the new kids in my yard this year, but a representative sample videoed in a short time span and edited together in a 90 second video. Gotta love the Kookaburra baby, she's independent enough to visit alone, but not quite sure which way is home. She got it right in the end.
