I was too far away to pick up any audio on the little built in mic. The display makes sort of a swishing sound and then they do a little growl after. It's not very loud at all.
Not too long ago we had 16 million of these amazing birds on the planet, their numbers are now down to under 300,000, possibly as low as 200,000. The threat to list them as an endangered species got a lot of attention from special interest groups. If they were to be listed, commercial development (the biggest cause of their decline), mining, and Mule Deer hunting would be impacted. Mule Deer share the same habitat as the Grouse and a listing could cause areas that were open to hunting to become off limits. These groups have been throwing money and lobbyist around trying to prevent an endangered species listing.
The Audubon has taken a stance to help these interest groups in developing a recovery plan that is now in effect. This was the compromise that kept the Greater Sage-Grouse form being listed. It's an interesting experiment. Let's hope it pays off.

In a normal winter, the entire waterfall would be covered in ice. Some people would even go rock climbing. However, this year's winter has been mild, so as you can see.

These are some of my avatar looks in Zepeto, Club Cooee and IMVU, which are social fashion metaverses. They are not as expansive as Second Life, but Zepeto and IMVU both have amazing avatar creation aspects. * Zepeto, Club Cooee and IMVU all have avatars with movement, however AI was used for some of the avatar movement shown here.
I also explore Highrise, Avaland, and Roblox. However, I am not in those worlds as much as Second Life.
