Higher in the wide chimney, climb the right (south) crack (5.6) instead of the wider left crack.
Step to the left side of a leaning slab in the widening chimney. Climb easy 5th class directly up the slab, or the trough left of the slab. Belay above the slab.
PITCH 3 Turn left (north) above the leaning slab and scramble to another slab.
Avoid a steep hand crack just left of the slab by scrambling directly up the easy 5th class slab.
Finger cracks (5.6) through a bulge above the slab lead to easier terrain.
Move the belay over 4th class boulders to the top of the ridge crest. Stem across a horizontal chimney to reach the crest above the First “Tower.” One may avoid the knife-edge ridge crest by traversing below the crest to the Second Tower.
PITCH 4 Set the belay about 40’ down from the notch on the south side of the Second Tower, on a small platform overlooking a steep gully. Climb easy cracks up and right in white rock to reach black rock.
Go straight up the blocky, black rock.
Switch cracks as needed on the steep terrain (5.7). Climb up and left of a roof (5.7) to reach easier white rock. A short scramble leads to the base of the next tower
PITCH 5 Scramble over a layer of black rock to reach a crack in the crest of the Third
Climb the crack (5.6) to gain the top of this short tower.
Scramble over 3rd class ground to move the belay to the north side of the Fourth Tower. Set the belay under the first crack on the north side of the tower on a loose and exposed ledge. This crack lies within 15’ of the crest.
PITCH 6 Climb the obvious crack that leans slightly left (5.7).
Step right above the crack and follow a flared crack (5.6) into easier terrain.
Scramble over 4th class ground to the end of the rope, and belay.
PITCH 7 This long pitch continues scrambling up and slightly right (south) of the ridge crest of the Fourth Tower.
PITCH 8 Keep scrambling (easy 5th class) to the top of the tower. Move the belay down to the notch below the summit ridge, and below the crux chimney of the route.
PITCH 9 Stem the chimney (5.9) to reach ajug, clip a piton, then continue up the right wallto a belay ledge.

The centrally located building entrance incorporates a feature donor wall and benches using wood reclaimed from trees on site. Backbone and allies like IVAW, CodePink and more utilized creative tactics to grab the media's attention and make our shared values more visible at the opening of the Bush presidential library and policy institute.
An administration whose failed policies and warmongering doesn't deserve a memorial, the fact that people laugh at the idea of a Bush Library is a testament to their folly. The Bush Lie-Bury is a reverse memorial to the 8 years (a following wake) of fallen lives and squandered opportunities that has led this country down such a terrible path.
By day, activists used bobble-head paper mache puppets rendered in the likeness of Bush, Cheney and the rest of his gang to force Dallas police to arrest them, giving us a cathartic if only symbolic relief. At night, activists agitated and inspired onlookers with light projections in downtown Dallas affirming and making our values visible. The creative tactics utilized earned the attention of the media who has largely ignored objections to the memorial.
Cross-border solidarity action utilizing Guerrilla Light Projection onto Trump's prototype border walls. Artful Activists San Diego, OLB San Diego, Backbone Campaign's affiliated San Diego Solidarity Brigade and photographer and educator Jill Marie Holslin mobilized this bold action. Their message was clear - "Build Bridges Not Borders," "Refugees Are Welcome," "No One is Illegal," countering the racist and xenophobic policies and rhetoric of the "Embarrassment-In-Chief" and the party of Trump.
On 11/19/2017, under a new moon, accompanied by a gorgeous sunset, a binational group of activists/artist met up at Las Torres barrio, Tijuana, Baja California. Setting up atop 3 vehicles parked against the existing border fence, facing the newly constructed prototypes, our group began projecting light graffiti onto the 30 ft by 30 ft border wall prototypes, located 100 to 150 feet away, on heavily guarded, impossible-to-access, U.S. soil. By using our" Las Torres shortcut", we had perfect access to all the prototypes. Overpass Light Brigade San Diego aimed our 750 watt Source Four stage lamp, equipped with a long-distance lens, at several prototypes, and began projecting. Jill Holslin, Andrew Sturm, and a Mexican videographer recorded the entire event. 5 images were displayed, beginning with a luchador, well known as a fighter against injustice in Mexico. A ladder ascending the prototype was next. In a playful spirit, the 3rd image of a stick figure climbed the wall with the words "LLEGALE" (go for it) below it. Lady Liberty then shown her light. The concluding image was an invocation that we as humans honor our common humanity more than contrived borders, and welcome refugees. The entire event was an example of how borders can bring people together, as UCSD students, faculty, Mexican nationals and US activists all met and created the event in response to the erection of fascist architecture on OUR BORDER. San Diego is and ever shall be, a border town. We are her citizens, and we shall defend her.
