Equipment thrown onto the desks as Flex people are apparently not authorised to unplug or plug in any of their supplied computer equipment -_-
The time, location, dress, and shoulder-slung gym bag suggest I've been to a Saturday morning jujitsu class. Here I'm pausing by the gate of a facility where Long Beach Unified School District buses spend nights and weekends. I'm on my way to the Blue Line parking garage (visible behind me, on the left, in the mirror), to unplug the Nissan Leaf from a charging station and drive it home.

Remove this part to allow removal of heater core. First unplug vacuum line connector and 2 self-tapping screws with 8mm heads.
I got this idea and directions from School for Us.
Put shaving cream on a baking sheet. Spread it out.Add drops of food coloring and smear around with toothpicks or forks. Place a piece of paper on top and press down. Lift up paper and scrape off shaving cream with a spatula. Then wipe clean with a cloth or paper towels. Paper dries fast!

The foot is secured by the four screws on the bottom. You can unplug the foot from the flash body by that white connector that's completely out of focus, so you can work on the foot separately like this.
There are only two connections, so it's kind of hard to screw it up. Red is signal (center pin), black is ground (side connection for rails). I stuck to the same color coding scheme.
The big tab of the jack goes to the tip of the plug, and that needs to be the sync signal. The base of the jack/plug goes to ground. Just check which tab matches which part of the plug.
disclaimer: Go through the 580EX sync port mod thread on POTN for more detailed advice and instructions. It's what I did. Obviously, you need some basic grounding in electronics and you're going to void your warranty, and when working on flashes, you can zap yourself good if you don't know how to recognize or discharge capacitors.

The Jaaga structure is unique, modular, low cost and incorporates eco-friendly elements. The design and build process, spear-headed by Freeman Murray and Archana Prasad has been, and continues to be, an open and collaborative effort.
This Jaaga site is located on Rhenius Street, Off Richmond Road, Opposite the Hockey Association Stadium main gate, Shanthinagar.

Having your own tools is the key to many a successful set adventure. Every shot has it's own unique challenges that require there own creative solutions. Almost every shoot I've been on requires some kind of arts and crafts project from tricky lighting flags to fancy armatures that hold tracking markers at just the right place. You can't always count on your grip brothers to lend you there Leatherman so best be bringing you own.
