I was just checking out DOA when I came across this beauty : an Oasisdoll Linglan. Would someone please unplug the internet so I stop looking (and wanting) pretty dolls? 'Cause I can't afford a BJD right now -___-
Sorry for all these item shots! That's what I end up resorting to when I don't have time to focus on my 365 project. In the midst of working 7 days straight.... wish I could just unplug for a while.
Bangkok | Thailand
I've seen a million Chinatowns and I can't say that Bangkok's is much different than any other. The best part is when you walk off the main street and wander through the back alleys. You see people living and working in a Matrix-like underworld. I was sure someone was going to come up and ask me to unplug them.

The Pemberton and District Community Centre will be hosting an Unplug and Play event on Sunday, May 1 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm as a kickoff event to Screen Free Week.
The event is geared towards creating awareness for families on the importance of balancing technology use with time with family, creative pursuits, recreation and nature. It was for sure one of the most uncomfortable days to go for a photowalk, but we made the best out of it - and were all richly rewarded afterwards with beer and tasty food and a nice evening :-)
Utilizando los chicos de mi tutorial previo aproveche de hacer unas pruebas para algunos wallpapers de niños.
I've often wondered how much energy is wasted by refrigerators in hotels that are never (or rarely) used. I always unplug them, if I can get to the cord. Given all the signage about conserving by not washing linens, I'm surprised most hotel refrigerators don't have "off" switches.
I was experiencing some heat related issues on my mabook pro and I finally decided to open up the damn thing and thoroughly clean the heatsink and vents.
The heatsink is actually below the motherboard so to clean it I had to unplug all the cables and unscrew the motherboard to get to the heatsink

作品描述
設計說明:
Unplug是個將插頭輕易拔除的裝置,將插頭插在unplug上,再將unplug插入插座,前端LED燈亮起,表示插座通電中,只需輕壓一次,LED燈關閉,插座即斷電。
“Unplug” is a device which can help us pull off the plugs from the outlets easily. Connect the original plug to “unplug”, and then put “unplug” into the outlet, the LED light turns on, which indicates that the plug is connected with power. If you press the button, the LED light turns off. It means the power supply is disconnected.
My wife and I decided that the best way to unplug from our lives was to get on a boat and get as far away as we can! We got to enjoy to sights and sounds that our southern country of Mexico had to offer aboard the Carnival Fantasy Cruise liner. And, I got to try my hand in street photography using vintage lenses. Honestly one of the best vacations to date, and we are looking forward to going back!
It's a fact that the more time we spend on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and so on, the more we feel overwhelmed and the need to "unplug".

The docking station is one of these, which lets you easily plug and unplug 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives into USB 2.0 without having to open an external case.

1 day in to the challenge and i nearly run out of time to take a photo!
After the celebrations of new year's eve in Rio de Janeiro I was all set for a quiet night before being told we were going out for "a little samba".
Little did I know this would turn into another night returning the wrong side of 6am! A crazy night watching and dancing samba at Mangueira (unfortunately without my camera), one of Rio's most famous dance schools, who were in full practice mode for the upcoming carnival season.
After nearly 50 hours awake Day 2 was a write off and I slept until late in the afternoon. Having caught up with the day it was already night time and i had little time to think about this week's theme of "New Year's Resolutions".
As I am currently travelling my most important resolution was made back in October at the start of my trip - to remember to stay in contact with my family back home, which results in many nights in front of my laptop, usually in hostel dorm rooms but sometimes on cool rooftops too :)
I didn't have much energy or inspiration for the photo but am really hoping the 365 challenge will push me into experimenting to improve my fledgling photography skills. I had a little play with the exposure to make things a little more ghostly, as if when "plugged in" part of me has flown back home....
(ok, that last bit wasn't completely serious :P)
See you tomorrow!
He loves sitting at my desk and typing. I unplug the keyboard and he goes to town. Then he takes apart the mouse. And then it's time for him to get down.
There's a second power wire that leads to the indicators on top of the VFO. Ease the VFO all the way out, locate the plug for the wires, and gently unplug it. NOTE: You don't have to take the VFO knob off to do any of this. I had mine off for a different reason (I had my stock ST-830S knob on my 130S).

I got this idea and directions from School for Us.
Put shaving cream on a baking sheet. Spread it out.Add drops of food coloring and smear around with toothpicks or forks. Place a piece of paper on top and press down. Lift up paper and scrape off shaving cream with a spatula. Then wipe clean with a cloth or paper towels. Paper dries fast!
