This vehicle is the top response to an emergency medical call in France and carries a doctor as part of the crew. It is one of the three types of French ambulances operating in the area.
Ex-GWR 7029 Clun Castle on the turntable after its return from a daily, early morning working to Cardiff. As can be seen, this was a manual turntable that required spinning of a low-geared hand-wheel and one of the crew is hard at it. In the background are some of the signals for one of the junctions between Gloucester and Cheltenham. 7th August 1965.
Details: Taken with a 35mm Zorki, Ilford HP3. Whole negative shown.

Our Daily Challenge - Hobbies. A lot of my hobbies I found hard to come up with good photographs, reading, listen to music, collecting the above, family history, so went for woodworking. I particularly like turning and scroll saw work (see the clock for the half challenge), but have not done so much recently. Even managed to get a bit of motion blur in if you look hard, but it was a bit hit or miss as I had to use the slef timer.

The Lowther Street Methodist church in Whitehaven - which has been closed since the 1990s – is looking neglected despite being sold last year with the intention of turning it into a luxury home. Looking decidedly not neglected is Cumberland 291 (BRM 596), a 1936 Leyland Titan TD4 rebodied by ECW in 1950. It is seen turning into Scotch Street, while operating the Town Circular during the “Leyland National 53” event on 4 May 2025.
A car, a lampost and electrical cabinet have been digitally removed for aesthetic reasons (i.e. I didn’t like them!)
Experiment with long exposure. I moved the camera around in a corner of my kitchen. Photo processed to enhance colours & contrast.
A response to "Get Pushed", where my partner shreya59 (photostream at www.flickr.com/photos/25799138@N02/) gave me a choice of challenges including long exposure. Thanks, Shreya, I had fun with this & learnt a lot.

I'm turning around to show you the back of my dress, which has a special partly open design. Also notice how my skirt follows my rotating motion with a little delay; such a swinging skirt is so feminine and graceful.
HSB Turning Torso is the tallest skyscraper in Sweden and the Nordic countries, situated in Malmö, Sweden on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait. When completed, it was the tallest building in Scandinavia. It is presently the third tallest residential building in Europe at 623 ft. Prior to the construction of Turning Torso, the 282 ft Kronprinsen had been the city's tallest building.
The project was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005.
