We were thrilled when we got to see the semiplumbeous hawk. They are not seen often but this one was sitting actually fairly low in the tree and stayed for a few minutes before flying off which gave us time to get a few images. Such a beautiful Hawk and this was taken on one of our trips to Costa Rica with Nature's Tapestry Photo Adventure Tours '

My attempt at the "Flickr Friday" theme "Delight".
It shows the screw of an adjustable wrench and at around 5:1 magnification.
Shot with an Olympus "41.17 mm F 4.82" (microfiche) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
Another shot of Charlie on the terrace. He had been playing with the catnip banana behind him, a toy which all the cats love, but then something else caught his attention.
Found while walking on West Webster Avenue in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago.

Turning Torso is a residential skyscraper located in Malmö on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait. It is regarded as the first twisted skyscraper in the world. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, Turning Torso is 190 metres high.
The first trees turning, some have gone bald already, some are green still.
This picture not from this year but it looks pretty much the same now.

The black capped tanager was another beauty from Ecuador !! Found in the rich canopy that surrounds Mindo ! The beauty of this little bird was breathtaking and I was so happy to have seen him and to have had the opportunity to capture a few images. I know i was not alone as we all loved this little gem.

This Anna's hummingbird had been at a feeder when it turned and began flying off. Their speed can be as high as 61 mph or 27 meters per second.

My camera is fixed and after 8 hours on the tele with Apple my LR has returned. I have miles to go in my recovery and surgeries but time with my favorites birds has lifted my spirit.
Perhaps a bit noisy but I don't care, These little buddies of mine are starting to warm up to my camera and we are fast becoming friends.
