Bristol Joint Services C7027, 822 MHW, a 70-seat 1962 Bristol FLF6B, turns at Zetland Road Junction, Bristol, June 9th 1972, an unlikely terminal point for cross city service 12, being only a mile or so from the central area. Of note is that the driver has set the destination numeral "linens" to the correct display of "12L", the use of the suffix "L" being described in the current company timetable as indicating a "journey of a local nature", such as a service that is turning short of it's final destination. The letter "C" was used for a cross city service that was terminating, instead, at the city centre.
Let's turn around to show you the back of my dress a bit better. The bodice is just as sparkly from the back and the skirt is very wide so I can easily take the top layers in my hands and play with them. Also notice that I'm wearing white stockings and matching lilac high heels to complete the look.

Headed into aisle one with yet another look at the custom Hernando cupola icon, here's a look that might help you picture what's going on on the other side of the service department island from the last photo. That's the café again off to the left, underneath the raised ceiling; the candy department is on the other side of the shelving to the left of my vantage point here. This half aisle is used for sale items, and merges into aisle one on the right beneath the icon.

A shot of the intersection of the bakery and the ice cream and dairy aisle, as taken from the (neatly kept!) soda aisles.
I wish Schedulr would turn a corner - it's still not uploading. I think maybe it's not made for Windows 8 or something. Either way, it's still convenient for me to have descriptions ready to transfer over to flickr uploads!

A local technician giving the final touches to the wedding arena. Weddings in Bangladesh are traditionally quite flamboyant and glamorous. This was at a friend's Akdh ceremony.
I realise I have been concentrating on one side of the story of Bangladesh- shedding light on the street, I guess I should give a more genuine image of society.

The Jerusalem Artichoke, Helianthus tuberosus, is a close relative of the sunflower (H. annuus) and the behaviour of its flowers is similar, as they usually turn facing the Sun direct light.
This species was introduced in Europe from America, where natives cultivated it since a long time before europeans invaded the continent. This plant is usually called in Italy "Topinambur" and locally used as food (this was its original use by american natives). The tubers of this plant are rich in inulin, a polysaccharide made of fructose units.
The Jerusalem Artichoke is not cultivated at present here in Friûl, the species is growing in wild. We consider it a "ruderal species", taking advantage of disturbance produced by man and sometimes of the edge effect, penetrating natural environments bordering with severely disturbed ones. Jerusalem artichoke is common along road sides, on dumps and on newly built river levees.
Of all the pictures I took at Axalp this year, this one sticks in my mind. Taken during practice on the second morning, one F-18 turns hot to the range just as the lead aircraft finished firing.

It seems that I am turning heads when out and about, although I'm not sure of the reason. I would like to think it's because men find me attractive and admire me. But it might be because they realise the truth!
It's not often that I post video clips. I find them too personal; they can expose all the imperfections in full HD glory! Also, I'm not a very good actor!! lol xxx
