This one is cropped because there was just more of the same plain blue sky.

...and other stuff previously added that is now rotting and composting, like this corn stalk from this past summer. I think that watching all this stuff decompose is just about as interesting as growing it in the first place. I enjoy turning the compost pile and really getting my hands dirty.

I like this even if its :

..a little dark

..a little out of focus

..not a flower;)

Raccoons search for fish and crabs hiding under the rocks and in the eel grass during low tide on Blake Island.

These were the test-shots for my lighting. She was already turning and posing actively, so this shot was a little unsharp, wether it be from movement or a incorrect auto-focus.

That auto-focus part is quite hard in the dark, the Sigma isn't a strong performer here, and during these kind of shoots it gets obvious. I learned that, during evening shoot, I have to have some kind of focus-assist, so a beam of light from a flashlight (because I have no modelling lights) or just a camera-tripod and a fixed shooting position.

HSB Turning Torso is the tallest skyscraper in Sweden and the Nordic countries, situated in Malmö, Sweden, located on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait. Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Scandinavia, the tallest residential building in the EU and the second tallest residential building in Europe, after the 264 metre (866 ft) Triumph Palace in Moscow.

This is a custom nail polish color I created by mixing several polishes together. it's rather sheer at 3 coats, i probably could have added a 4th or 5th coat, or gone with some kind of 'underwear' like an opaque white or yellow. But the VNL (visible nail line) isn't really that visible in real life and it doesn't bother me too much. :-)

i know the last two pics make them look like they live up to their fierce reputation, but this was how they were most of the time. just goofy looking furry blobs.
