Part of the new British Galleries at the Met. If you like all things British, the new updated galleries at the Met are beautiful! Tea pots, vases, stemware, porcelain, silver and gold. Furniture, recreated rooms . . . it's all just gorgeous.
N179CJ, a Dassault Falcon 20C-5, on approach to runway 23 at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. It was arriving from Goose Bay, Labrador and Keflavik, Iceland.
Serial number 176 first flew on October 9, 1969 and was delivered to Societa Nazionale Metanodotti in Milan, Italy as I-SNAM.
This was the 46.5-year old's third last flight.
On June 18, 2016, it flew from Toronto to Detroit, Michigan, then carried on to Ottawa, Kansas.
It was later cannibalized for parts at the facilities of Dodson International Parts, Inc. in nearby Rantoul, Kansas.

A black and white photo of the “Monument Rocks” in western Kansas. This shot was taken just before sunset, so it has some nice highlights and also some deep shadows. I think the monochrome palette and dramatic lighting create a very powerful and extraordinary scene that complements this unique natural wonder.

A broken foot has kept me cooped up indoors for the last seven weeks. I was seriously missing playing with my camera until my daughter picked out some beautiful flowers at the grocery store. It seemed like the perfect time to practice some new techniques!
