The village of Blakeney seen from the costal path from Morston in Norfolk, England. The path is raised on a embankment that acts as a sea defence as the salt marsh it winds through will often flood.

an icy dawn on Jokulsarlon beach, our last day in Iceland and of course, I fell over a chunk of ice trying to keep dry

P.S. Some things are just timeless. A large fire of consistency without the need for sparks is much stronger and more fulfilling.

I took this at Seaford in the Seven Sisters National Park in Sussex on the south coast of England. I have seen many images of this scene but none quite like this one, I sepia toned it to give that timeless quality to it, I also love that winding path leading you in to the image, what do you lot think?

Something a bit different this time the Lake Ullswater! I tried to create an old b/w neg type image by adding grain and sepia!
Batten Kill Railroad RS3 4116 is rolling slowly north an iconic location on the old D&H Washington Branch...in a part of the world where time has seemingly stood still.
They are framed up looking east through the 1874 single span 107 ft Howe Truss Rexleigh Covered Bridge spanning the Batten Kill. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places it is one of only 29 such covered bridges in New York State.
