this old box still sparkles not sure of the history of this box but definitely is over 20 years old and probably close to 60 years old and hopefully be around much longer.

An alligator sleeping under the viewing tower at Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center in Port Aransas, Texas, taken from the lower boardwalk leading to the tower. This is part of the Port Aransas Nature Preserve adjacent to Aransas Pass, a channel between the Port of Corpus Christi and the Gulf of Mexico (via Corpus Christi Bay).
These creatures will likely still be around when humans have vanished from the earth.

Just off the highway south of Lee Vining in the Eastern Sierras lays these abandoned houses. I'm not sure of the history of these places but I bet it's interesting and they have seen a lot.
The foreground was kindly lit up by the passing cars headlights.
I can not believe it is over 4 years since i was at Cotter Force. Its scary how fast time flies. A beautiful location well overdue a re-visit. A 2 minute exposure @ f/16 on this one with the trusty 24-105. Thanks for viewing and have a fab week everyone.
