"TIMELESS LAND" - 2015
Nich umsonst heisst dieser Ort mitten im australischen Outback "Rainbow Valley" Vielleicht einer der malerischten Orte welche ich bis jetzt besuchen durfte! Diese verwitterten Sandsteinformation südlich von Alice Springs liegt abgelegen und ist nur über eine unbefestigte Piste erreichbar. Diese Strecke führt vom Stuart Highway aus 22 Kilometer über sogennante Wellblechpiste, Sanddünen und den mit grosser Vorsicht zu geniessen australischen Lehmstaub, auch "Bulldust" genannt! Die eindrücklichen Sandsteinformationen des Rainbow Valley ist am schönsten und spektakulärsten während dem Sonnenauf- beziehungsweise Sonnenuntergang oder die Zeit kurz davor oder danach, wenn das aus hohem Eisengehalt bestehenden Gesteins in allen Farbschattierungen zu leuchten beginnt. Ein atemberaubendes Schauspiel der Natur!
The tiny village of Khuan Don on the very southern tip of Thailand along the border of Malaysia is relatively unknown to even most Thailanders and the only exception to the local Thai people I have personally seen are actually foreign visitors packed like sardines in speeding mini-buses or in cars bearing Malay plates, this being a gateway to the Malaysian border and thus a point of reference to get that 'oh so important' visa stamp.
i'm quite sure these delightful ladies in their large brimmed coolie hats have probably never had their photo taken by any passer by before, nobody ever stops, time is of the essence and buses and cars from outside the area no doubt have tight schedules.
I myself will never understand this, and although an important venue for myself also being a long term visitor requiring the occasional visa stamp, I will never pass through this beautiful area only looking at the road ahead, time stands still only for the click of a shutter and one day it might all be forgotten.

Strolling through Montpellier, I was drawn to this street scene where history meets everyday life. The monochrome tones give it a timeless, almost cinematic feel.

Enna, a pittoresque city on a mountain in the middle of Sicily. It was twelve o clock on a hot summer day, so we went up the mountain in search of a cool breeze. When I saw this Fiat 500 in front of the high rising city walls, I could not resist. I immediately grabbed my camera and took this picture.
Regardless of what arises to the six avenues of consciousness appearances seen, sounds heard everything is naturally clear, an expanse with no division or exclusion.
