This might come as a surprise, but while on this shoot, all i could think of was "next time i'm bringing my fishing rod". The bass in this dam were so active, it sounded like children playing in a pool. I hope you enjoy. Dom
I stumbled upon this shot a few weeks back. Fathers Day is almost here so it seemed like great timing to post this one. This is my #2 son, Daniel, 19 years old and he knows everything (just ask him).
This image captures a charming stone stairway at Isola Bella, Italy, surrounded by lush greenery and ancient stone walls, with a cherub statue adding to the enchanting atmosphere. The scene evokes a sense of timeless beauty and tranquility.

Sometimes a familiar place can look eternal when we view with a different set of eyes. In this case, I put on the ND filter to turn a rather ordinary shot giving a feeling of timelessness. As, I watched the clouds rolling over the horizon after I missed what could have been a spectacular sunrise show, I decided to climb up the hill in my neighborhood Forest Preserve to try my luck catching the cloud streaks. The long winding road downhill and the cloud movement created enough interests for me to challenge the howling wind as I stood on top of the hill.
I wish that dried flower isn't in front of her chest area, but I still love this myself. I chose to convert this into b/w to create a timeless feel.
Walking up the narrow spiral staircase in the Twins light house,
this view caught my eye. Remembering this window has been here 150 years, How many thunderstorms, hurricanes and blizzards have pounded these windows.
The men who built this had no idea we would now have GPS and now these light houses are just for show and to remember a long forgotten time..
This is my weekend to work , which is fine we are supposed to have snow :(

When I took this photo the late summer colors were dull and washed out. I remember thinking it might be *cool* as a B&W image. So here goes... critique is welcome!!

If we could live in a timeless world, then there'd be no rush to finish anything on time, ha that would be the dream of some.
What to do when your mood is in the pits? Therapeutic photoshopping with some music playing always helps, try it sometime.
"There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition."
~ Rod Sterling ~

Another shot from my lightning visit to South Australia, and what a huge day this was, 14 hrs on the road starting at 4am. I spotted these piles as we took a wrong turn back from Port Elliot, I know that they are well known amongst photographers, but I didn't know their location. Nearly jumped out the car when I saw them from the passenger seat!!
Would love a sunrise/set shot but time didn't allow it. Wish I'd got one from the cliff top though to show the magnificent water.
This is Port Willunga, just remnants of what was quite a long jetty back in the mid 1800's
