«When you reach the top of the last dune hiding the Deadvlei, make time to sit quietly and absorb the timeless atmosphere pervading this unique scene.»

Love is presented in many ways in art throughout the ages. Love and love story are truly timeless and universal. I loved this image found in bed and breakfast.
Timeless elegance is found in the simplicity of nature. There is no comparable beauty to that of Creation. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the spectacular views of the seasons.
Timeless Bosham Harbour
At the end of a long hot day, what better than to run through the cool harbour waters chasing sticks?
This dog never tired of retrieving the sticks his master threw for him.
Sometimes a gray sky background turns out to be a good thing - especially if it makes you look at alternative forms of processing.

“The timeless in you is aware of life's timelessness; and knows that yesterday is but today's memory and tomorrow is today's dream.”
Kahlil Gibran
"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters."
- Norman Maclean, A River Runs Through It.
Bang - Blow Dry Bar

Using grain/noise and light to get the finished look for the Bang shoot. Hope you approve!?!
I flew in to Philadelphia for the weekend to visit with family and friends. Was hoping to catch what should have been a fantastic sunset at Cape May, NJ during Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The sun would set almost directly behind the lighthouse and would provide an awesome opportunity to catch magic on this wonderful stretch of beach. The weather forecast suggested mostly sunny through 8pm so I committed to the two hour drive down. I arrived hours early to some haze. It unfortunately grew hazier and cloudier as sunset approached. I decided to take some photos anyway. With conditions less than ideal, some post-processing in Lightroom was required.
Bad Light? Black and White!
Maybe Bettys looked like this the day before its doors opened back in 1937. All the Queen Mary splendour that inspired Frederick Belmont to open this tea rooms after he and his wife Claire were on Queen Mary's maiden voyage in 1936.
I have nice memories of the days I used to work in this beautiful place.
It makes me really sad to see it closed.

In a timeless ritual of men and the sea, the fishing boat, Newfoundland Mariner, takes her leave of St. John's harbour and heads out into open water to try her luck.
I'm not sure what the man on top of the bridge was doing - perhaps just enjoying the view
"You don't love a woman because she is beautiful, but she is beautiful because you love her."

Thanks Andre.

So the question is, how can it be a mundane shot if it's of the most amazing sight on earth? Well, it can't. No matter how many times I see the Castle, and no matter how many pictures I see of the Castle, I am awe-inspired each time.
I think it says a lot about something when you just sit and stare at it, and become teary eyed. That's how it is for me and the Castle. When I hear the Kiss Goodnight, it does it for me everytime.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, on behalf of everyone here at the Magic Kingdom, we thank you for joining us today for a magic gathering of family, friends, fun, and fantasy. We hope your magical journey with us has created wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Walt Disney said that the Magic Kingdom is a world of imagination, hopes, and dreams. In this timeless land of enchantment, magic and make believe are reborn, and fairy tales come true. The Magic Kingdom is a place for the young and the young at heart. A special place where when you wish upon a star, your dreams can come true. Until we see you again, have a safe trip home. Thank you, and goodnight."
Is going to Walt Disney World once, twice, three times a year odd? Nah. What's odd is not expressing some sort of emotion when you see this beautiful sight. I guess you can count me in "the young at heart" group, because this is a sight I will always love to see. I feel sorry for those who just don't get it.
Thanks for the comments and favorites, everyone! This picture made it to #39 in Explore for June 12th, 2009!
