'35 Ford roadster hot rod without fenders originally photographed at the 2019 Back to the Fifties car show. I didn't like the background so changed it several different ways before finally settling on this composite with an antique watch for the background with several textures as well.

The Empire State Building shines in the Manhattan skyline across the East River, New York.
"At night… the streets become rhythmical perspectives of glowing dotted lines... The buildings are shimmering verticality, a gossamer veil, a festive scene-prop hanging there against the black sky to dazzle, entertain, amaze."
-Frank Lloyd Wright
The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is a protected area high in the White Mountains in Inyo County in eastern California. Protected within the Inyo National Forest, the Bristlecone Pine Forest is home to the oldest trees in the world, bristlecone pines. The bristlecone pine trees grow between 9,800 and 11,000 feet above sea level, in xeric alpine conditions. Some of these living trees exceed 4000 years of age and exhibit spectacular growth forms of twisted and beautifully colored wood.

Recently we went to SFMOMA, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. If you go out on the balcony in the back you see The Pacific Bell Building, an Art Deco style building, partly covered by another structure that was in the shade. I love Art Deco.
I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, and carefully adjusted the curves.

Finally, I'm back! :D I've been a couple of days in London, and around 2 weeks in Western Australia (Perth, Mandurah, Busselton and Bunbury), attending the General Assembly of the IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students' Association), as Spanish Officer for Human Rights. I have only had 5 days to visit the region and take some photos... I wish I would have had some more time and opportunities to travel around the country, but I cannot complain, anyway. :D
Al fin he vuelto! :D

The always lovely Christine Falls in Mt. Rainier Nation Park is one of the most beautiful falls I have ever photographed. For me the detail in the rock that Van Trump Creek has been sculpting for centuries adds another dimension of beauty to this gem. I would love to be able to feel how smooth that granite slab that forms the main pour over point is?
