Timeless ruins – Daybreak across Loch Awe sees the lifting mist revealing the timeless ruins of Kilchurn Castle reflected in the mirror perfect loch.
A truly stunning and inspirational location that I'm so drawn to, having been genuinely privileged to experience several spectacular dawns here; waiting patiently lochside, totally transfixed by the scene unfolding before me.
A wider shot than I'm usually accustomed to, showing the more open eastern end of Loch Awe as the mist gently rolls down the loch and as the first light breaks across the glen. Nature's raw beauty at its very best.

In order to capture the impressive Perseid Meteor Shower, I hauled my photography equipment on a gruelling 7-hour backpack up one of the steepest trails in Colorado to the 13,000 foot gap between Pigeon Peak and Turret Peak. The result was this magical scene in which I was able to gaze upon cascading meteors for three hours while shivering high above Silverton (seen bottom left) and Durango as the setting moon illuminated the ever impressive Animas Mountain and Monitor Peak across the valley from me.
'35 Ford roadster hot rod without fenders originally photographed at the 2019 Back to the Fifties car show. I didn't like the background so changed it several different ways before finally settling on this composite with an antique watch for the background with several textures as well.

This reminds me of the book covers on Edgar Rice Burroughs books from the 60's. Frank Frazetta, RG Krenkel Jr were the masters who depicted savage men with swords and spears set in strange lands.
I took this photo of a man made waterfall at the zoo in Canberra and whoever built is did an amazing job because it looks naturally made. The photo was taken during the day and after viewing it I wondered what it would look like if I changed the sky from clouds to stars and I am really happy with the result as it really changed the vibe of the photo. The photo now looks like it could have been taken in the stone age and was a watering hole for animals to drink from. Or thirsty hunters who needed to stop and rest before continuing on the hunt for food. I have always been told I have a great imagination ha.

Some places are so beautiful they will mesmerize the soul. It is the most beautiful place on Earth for the moment. There are many such places that everyone carries in heart and mind the image of the ideal place.
After spending a couple of nights in Dubai, we then moved on to London. I really love being in London.

I was trying to come up with a creative title for this image, and "Timeless Nature" popped into my head. Not sure if it is appropriate or not. Also, not sure if I actually like this image as it has a lot of negative space on the left hand side. Nonetheless, I decide to post as I felt the image does conjure a sense of emotion...maybe it is of "Timeless Nature." :D
It is Wednesday, and we are over the hump. Thanks for stopping by ~!
