Well, Covid free by the looks of it, and at last feeling well enough to spend some time in front of my PC to process some images from our trip to outback NSW nearly two weeks ago now.
We were driving along a 280km dirt road, and the land was flat, for as far as the eye could see in every direction.
Then, out of literally nowhere, out of my peripheral vision, I spotted this Knarly old tree.
Skidding to a stop on a red dirt road raises some awesome dust clouds, let me tell you.
A few minutes after I shot this, we were back out of the car, chasing emus.
Brilliant amazing trip with my better half.

People often say, this photo spot would always go and let me say, that's true. Nevertheless I have never seen a sun rise like this at that place before.
An aged rusty bridge spans the wide, roaring creek, connecting to the other the pathway. I wanted to give this bridge photo a different POV than you normally see

Timeless ruins – Daybreak across Loch Awe sees the lifting mist revealing the timeless ruins of Kilchurn Castle reflected in the mirror perfect loch.
A truly stunning and inspirational location that I'm so drawn to, having been genuinely privileged to experience several spectacular dawns here; waiting patiently lochside, totally transfixed by the scene unfolding before me.
A wider shot than I'm usually accustomed to, showing the more open eastern end of Loch Awe as the mist gently rolls down the loch and as the first light breaks across the glen. Nature's raw beauty at its very best.

Once again I am here in the mid of the Western Alps admiring the breathtaking peaks after a summer storm. The fast moving clouds the wet grass the sun filtering through the clouds and in distance the noise of the raging waters of waterfalls. I spent more time here in the Alps because of the pandemic and I realized that there are no better places for me. Walking into these places completely deserted from any person it was a surreal experiece that made me tought about many things about my life photography social media etc. I think chasing trends likes and the public "success" is distracting us from the reason of why we started to take pictures.
My Middle Earth is here and I don't need nothing more.

In order to capture the impressive Perseid Meteor Shower, I hauled my photography equipment on a gruelling 7-hour backpack up one of the steepest trails in Colorado to the 13,000 foot gap between Pigeon Peak and Turret Peak. The result was this magical scene in which I was able to gaze upon cascading meteors for three hours while shivering high above Silverton (seen bottom left) and Durango as the setting moon illuminated the ever impressive Animas Mountain and Monitor Peak across the valley from me.
I ventured out to a local woods yesterday, local being 10 miles from home rather than 40 miles. I had planned to go to the woods I’d been visiting all year in Northumberland, but given the area was still struggling with the aftermath of storm Arwen I didn’t feel it was right to go adventuring where the folks don’t even have electricity and the roads have just been cleared by the hard working farm community. I was looking for snow and there was reports that snow had fallen in Gateshead over the weekend so as the woods was inland and higher up in that area I thought there would be a good chance, but yet again I drew a blank. No snow yesterday so I ventured into my archive for todays photo. Taken two years ago from the top of Glaramara, a very snowy day January 2019. The late afternoon sun catches Honister crag and Hindscart, I decided on #bnw inspired by a fantastic photo on the front of #blackandwhitephotographymag taken by @jasondavisphotography a photographer I hadn’t come across before but I’m looking forward to looking into, just my cup of tea.
