I took off the tops of several electronic devices and didn't find anything I liked. then I just took off my watch... and now I'm not even sure if it is an "electronic" at all... but the copper inductor may be a hint...

The first time, ever i saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes
And the moon and the stars
Were the gifts you gave
To the dark, and the endless skies
My love
To the dark, and the endless skies
And the first time, ever i kissed your mouth
I felt the earth move in my hands
Like the trembling heart
Of a captive bird
That was there, at my command
My love
That was there, at my command
My love

Street photography from Glasgow, Scotland.
Defying space and time to bring you a previously unpublished shot from one of my Street Photography Workshops in Glasgow during September 2018. I had just been talking about the concept of having recurring themes in your work in order to help you out when you are losing inspiration. One of my Flickr albums being 'Pink and Blue' is just an example of this. Enjoy!
Sometimes you have to grasp the moment and pause and just hold that thought... that moment.
You can't stop time. You can't capture light. You can only turn your face up and let it rain down.

If you are always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be.

✈️ : Luane's World-Summer
I turn my back to the wind
To catch my breath before I start off again
Driven on without a moment to spend
To pass an evening with a drink and a friend
I let my skin get too thin
I'd like to pause, no matter what I pretend
Like some pilgrim who learns to transcend
Learns to live as if each step was the end
(Time stand still)
I'm not looking back, but I want to look around me now
(Time stand still)
See more of the people and the places that surround me now
Time stand still
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each sensation a little bit stronger
Experience slips away
Experience slips away
Time stand still
A ride on the carousel is every child's dream. And for all ages, this dream is associated with the Christmas season. The carousel has therefore been one of the special attractions at Christmas markets for decades. And in the best case scenario, it is even a historical example like the one at the Trier Christmas market.
“One glance at a book and you hear the voice of another person, perhaps someone dead for 1,000 years. To read is to voyage through time.”

Auld lang time. Lets all wave goodbye to 2021, a year that has probably driven many of us to distraction, and at the same time seen many people sadly not make it.
I would like to wish everyone a happy new year, but I do hope it is prosperous and optimistic new beginning.
The image was taken at Harry Potter world, on my Leica X and post processed in Luminar 3.

We still have a few old fencelines on our property. Some are basically tree branches stuck in the ground with a strand or two of barbed wire still hanging on.I'm guessing these fences date from the '50s. The stories these old fences could tell....Happy fence friday all!
A guy is driving around Tennessee and he sees a sign in front of a house: "Talking Dog For Sale."
He rings the bell and the owner tells him the dog is in the backyard.
The guy goes into the backyard and sees a Labrador retriever sitting there. "You talk?" he asks.
"Yep," the Lab replies.
"So, what's your story?"
The Lab looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young."
"I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA about my gift, and in no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. "I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running."
"But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security wandering near suspicious characters and listening in."
"I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired."
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.
"Ten dollars," the guy says.
"Ten dollars? This dog is amazing. Why on Earth are you selling him so cheap?"
"Because he's a liar. He never did any of that stuff."
For all the little things out there that matter.
All blood is familiar.
A bird has a beetles soul.
(Please have a sense of humor, because I just laughed too)
Time is passing, though, little, big and small.
