It may look like winter, but the maple trees are acting like it's Spring--it's time for tapping trees for sap that will be used to make maple syrup.
Sometimes what we see and appreciate can only happen at a particular “Time of Year” Water gardens and typical land gardens supply us with beauty we enjoy when the season and weather are correct for their growth and lifespan. So right about now, many of us just want to get out of town to somewhere that’s not affected by these crazy times. Well unfortunately for us, the passenger train service that uses these tracks is shut down, so leaving town, even if we wanted too, is not possible!
I toss out peanuts for the squirrels I guess this one thought it was gold since that was all it could find, either that or it’s break time.

They keep turning up, every year. Bluebells and whitebells, from my garden, which is smothered in them ! They're fading a bit now, so I took this photo, painted and textured them in Topaz Studio. I love them, which is just as well, as they keep turning up every year ... time after time.
Here's a REAL oldie for you. Probably recorded before some of us were born, but my sister has always loved this - and so do I.
