It's beautiful here in Holland, MI, this time of year. The annual Tulip Time is in full swing. I took this picture 10 days ago so these tulips are probably getting past their peak. A lack of sun and time prevented me from getting back to these blossoms and shooting them in full bloom.
The village of Killin is situated at the western end of Loch Tay and is most famous for the Falls of Dochart, a cascade of small falls on the River Dochart This view is downstream of the falls as the river heads towards the loch. which is just beyond the trees.
By now the weather was beginning to clear as evidenced by the distant glimpse of a peak in the Ben Lawers massif. Good news for me as my plan was to go 'up'!
