This is Bryce Canyon National Park. It is located in southwestern Utah, United States. The major feature of the park is Bryce Canyon, which despite its name, is not a canyon but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called "hoodoos" formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. The hoodoo formation pictured herein is named Thor's Hammer. It is one of the most photographed formations in the Park. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views for visitors. Bryce sits at a much higher elevation than nearby Zion National Park. The rim at Bryce varies from 8,000 to 9,000 feet (2,400 to 2,700 m).

Today the days are long and still, but they won't last forever. Those days will return, along with the gentle sirocco wind.

C'era sentore di funghi, in quei giorni, e aroma di caldarroste. Erano giornate bellissime, benedette da una leggera foschia mattutina che si diradava con il trascorrere del mattino. Years ago I plucked a Dogwood blossom from a tree. Once I pressed the flower between heavy books, I saw the intricate veins on the bracts surrounding the center of the flower. Then I placed the specimen between two pieces of sticky Contact paper. Now the blossom will be forever frozen in time.
the jungle has its dark corners and its lights, and even though the wind has repeated the secrets to the trees, you can only hear whispers of them in the leaves, and still you have to be attentive..

The Konark Sun Temple. An ancient architecture built in 13th century, was dedicated to God 'Sun'. With twelve pairs of gigantic sundials, ornamented chariots and classical arts, carved over the stone walls, its a cool place to recall Indian history. Also once was known as Black Pagoda to Europeans as the ships passing through near by used to experience destruction of their navigation systems because of humongous magnetic supports of the temple.
Simply its a perfect composition of engineering, astronomy and fine art !!!
