We have time to be able to spend together are very limited.

A very precious time, I hope you will spend happily.

Imbue with meaning

In between my veins, a toxic madness survives,

And within my heart, a deadly sadness thrives.

Antelope Canyon carved from the red sandstone for millennia by seasonal flood rains and wind, the canyons are narrow passageways that lead several hundred feet away from the mouth. Antelope Canyon is also one of the most famous slot canyons in the world. Magnificent Antelope Canyon was named for the herds of pronghorn antelope that once roamed the area.

When all the leaves are brown

And the wind blows so chill

And the birds have all flown for the summer

I'm callin', hear me callin', hear me callin'..."

The first day we observed the Hairy Woodpeckers at this nest site they were not bringing food into it. There were long intervals of the male and female coming in and out...I believe they may have still been incubating the eggs. This day they were both bringing small insects into the cavity...'baby time'!

Thank you for your visit and comments.

A small church cemetery in Maentwrog, Wales. I've always enjoying walking through cemeteries and wondering about the peoples lives and passages on this earth.

Life moves about us, but we must stay and live among the living, for in time we will begin to understand and learn from those who came before us and as we progress in life, let us never loose hope, for God has a purpose for us.

Or .... "Tempus fugit", what the Romans would say :-)

Image obtained by combining two photos:

One of a pendulum swinging photographed at low speed with flash synchronized to the second curtain.

The human figure was extracted from the second photo.

I made it to the park just in time to watch the sun set. the attraction to this image for me is the glowing of the light just as we are ready to say goodnight.

Autumn in full bloom in the Adelaide Hill is a magical time. There are pockets of places like this all over the area - sometimes you just need someone to tell you where to look.

This is the view as you go up to Meem's Bottom Covered Bridge.

Evening Grosbeak

That's what one would think by looking at these two photos. In reality the photo on the left was taken at 1:35 PM and the one on the right was taken at 4:34 PM - for three hours nothing, absolutely nothing, changed in owl's posture; only things that changed were my position on the ground and the position of the sun in the sky. Two days earlier a Red morphed Screech Owl was seen together with this Gray morphed one in the same hole - a very unique scene. On this day the red was a no-show and this one didn't even open its eyes to take a glimpse of the misery of the hapless bird watchers. Yes, that's how it goes most of the time. Burlington, Ontario.

Series: Expedition into the near environment

eactivity fading away

Fewer kinks larger tolerance

Enhanced awareness

Panoramic view

More compassion

Fewer desires

Acceptance of limitations

Acquired Humility

More Unhurried

A completeness which unfolds

As the “you ” slows down

In the heat of conflict

You taste the awareness of the moment

And let go of the memory

An awareness of the mind speeding

everything passes away

Finally a need for order

Details which seemed mundane

While speeding

Unhurried sense of order…

In between flight of thoughts ,

Constant attack of attraction and aversion

Silence comes to you…

This is a composite of 101 shots. 100 10-second exposures were combined to create the long exposure for the water and the rocks using Sony's Smooth Reflection app. I left the camera on the tripod and walked out with Lars to get a shot of us after the LE was complete.
