After another day on the coast, it's getting late and time to start thinking about finding someplace for dinner before heading back over the hills for home.

Hyacinth Macaw - Vulnerable.
The Hyacinth Macaw is the largest parrot in the world and easily one of the most spectacular. It is an enormous bird weighing on average 1.5 kilograms (3.5 pounds) and is completely blue save its dark bill and bare yellow orbital ring and stripe at base of its lower mandible. It is completely dependent on the fruits of a number of palm species and has a necessarily massive bill to aid in the cracking of the tough exterior. Due to its dependence on palm fruit its range is regulated by the presence and abundance of its preferred species and is distributed in north central and south central Brazil into extreme north west Paraguay where it can be found in palm savannas, Mauritia palm stands, open dry woodland, gallery forest and the edge of humid lowland forest.

I never seem to get good Butterfly shots. I shot off maybe thirty of these and even went to get my macro camera. There were a few workable out of the A99.
Thanks to the butterfly who stayed in there while I attempted this.
I did manage to finish some song lyrics today.
Life moves about us, but we must stay and live among the living, for in time we will begin to understand and learn from those who came before us and as we progress in life, let us never loose hope, for God has a purpose for us.
Day 6 with Charlie Brown. He is always hungry but prefers to eat the food the others get instead of his own while Cleo has discovered that Charlie's kitten kibbles are her favourite food from now on.....
Macro Mondays theme Biscuit
Time for coffee with these little Soft Amaretti biscuits. Made with crushed apricot kernels and almonds and a delicious taste of Italy. Am I making you hungry?
Frame width is approx 5cm.
Happy Macro Monday 😄
“Memory warps time, as it does the sights and sounds and smells of reality; for what shapes it is emotion, which can twist what seems clear, just as the surface of a pond seems to bend the stick thrust into the water.”

A shot from two nights ago. I was really looking for a silhouette of some geese flying in front of the setting sun but that didn't quite work.
(( Thank you for the pose @SassySweetPoses! ))
Do you remember when we fell in love
We were young and innocent then
Do you remember how it all began
It just seemed like heaven
So why did it end?
Do you remember back in the fall
We'd be together all day long
Do you remember us holding hands
In each other's eyes we'd stare
Do you remember how we used to talk
You know we'd stay on the phone at night 'til dawn
Do you remember all the things we said
Like I love you so I'll never let you go

A small church cemetery in Maentwrog, Wales. I've always enjoying walking through cemeteries and wondering about the peoples lives and passages on this earth.
Freedom is a nothing but a chance to be better.
Real freedom is freedom from opinions of others , above all freedom from your opinions about yourself
"In the winter time
When all the leaves are brown
And the wind blows so chill
And the birds have all flown for the summer
I'm callin', hear me callin', hear me callin'..."

Time leans softly on a stack of stories,
its brass bones warm with borrowed light.
The hands move, but only just—
as if afraid to disturb the quiet.
A teacup breathes in curls of amber,
holding heat like a whispered secret,
while petals loosen from their purpose
and settle into the lace of memory.
Nothing here is in a hurry.
Even the ticking feels polite—
a gentle reminder
rather than a demand.
This is where moments come to rest,
where hours steep like leaves in water,
and the world, just for a while,
forgets to rush.
