Those kids nowadays are more interested in online gaming then playing with a ball LOL

crush me everytime.... <3

They got a bit hidden, but Margo was demonstrating how sad she is over what all the rain and mud did to her pretty shoes...and the bottom of her dress!

July Milwaukee Stobist meetup. Many thanks to Cory and Kevin and the folks at

Direct Supply, Inc. for letting us use the space. But mostly thanks to Allison for the time. I think you will all agree she makes quite a muse.

Strobist info: large monoblocs with a large softbox in the vertical position . The light power I am unclear on exactly but it was more than I originally wanted, maybe 1/8. 1/100 @ f/3.5

This was originally an outtake.

Those are the other members of our sailboat on shore, completely unaware of the bear fishing below them. We were on the boat trying to figure out how to mime "bear" in case they looked over at us. They say they were further away than it appears.

Oh, those were the good old days. As kids, we were taught by the elders on how to look for these spiders, which often build their nests by sticking two pieces of leaves together. After finding one, we will keep them in match boxes, feeding them flies from time to time.

Of course, the main purpose of finding and keeping these spiders were to participate them in fight tournaments between friends or family :p

Fighting spiders will use their 1st pair of legs to fight (rapid "punches), push and injure their opponents. Males usually fight more violently.

The fighting aside, these spiders tend to be very curious, and won't hesitate to jump onto your hands when you want it to. The metallic green micro-scales throughout the body give these spiders a magnificent look too!

You wouldn't want to mess this with guy, would you. Those claws look almost metallic!!

We wish to acknowledge the extreme sacrifices made by Trinity in the name of high (heel) fashion.

Those 70's custom vans were awesome.

Those are some of Mary's siblings playing flashlight tag in the rocks.

On one of those days where half-canopy open toppers are best for the citysightseeing tour duties, Leyland Olympian Alexander RH K875 CSF is approaching York rail station, also of note is that the fogs are on.

Those tiny little dots? Yeah, those are people. Seriously.

My sister. This was taken while it wasn't snowy here... sometime in the fall. I edited a while back, but I've decided to put it on flickr.

A staple treat for all those visiting the Stampede Corral are the IAMS Superdogs. This year they presented the hour long “Simply WOOFY. It’s Freakin’ Dogtastic!” Great for families, kids, grown up kids, and people of every age group.

Maybe it's age, but I didn't find the show as entertaining as I had in the past. Either that, or the dogs were rather lazy. We did have comic releaf from a couple dogs. One was super hyper and did almost everything so that he could be reunited to his rope toy. He was very quick in all the race tests vs. the St Bernard who took its time getting anywhere on the timed races (seen in a very clean capture in this collage). I was happy to see a siberian husky representative, as that is my favourite breed. Too bad this one wasn't too active, but it was beautiful none-the-less.
