those are all tomatoes from her garden! she had a whole counter full, in addition to all you see here--a whole platter's worth!

 

oh my, the most amazing one we sampled was the salmon pink oaxacan. crazily shaped and so tender if feels like a baby's butt when you hold it in your hand. SO much flavor in a tiny package, insanely good. all that basil is my addition to plate!

 

we also grilled spicy indian chicken skewers to go with the caprese salad.

wily ears and sleepy eyes. i can't walk past missing pet posters without stopping and gawking.

these are all film, i tried double exposures and i love them, my scanner turned this a little green oh well

Seriously. Those eyes are amazing.

Melanie is almost 6 years old and is a real lady cat and so, so sweet.

Bartholomeu is 16 months old and is still a baby willing to play all day long. T

hey look a bit alike but it's a coincidence...

I took my camera to work intending to take some photos of nice trees from a square near the office during my lunch hour. I wish... It was a rainy day so I had to stay inside. Arriving home, Melanie and Bartholomeu (we call him Barthô) were my only choice. :D

Those heaters over the tables -- they're kind of cool looking.

Apart from the beauty of this scene, what with the wild sea and the rocks and the solitary boat on the water, and the rains rolling in, I was quite amused at those pesky seagulls! If you enlarge the picture, you will notice one just ahead of the boat and one overhead, and one way up. There were more but they had dispersed. (Colony of Avalon/ Ferryland, St.John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada, June 2015)
