Those in charge of F1's biggest budget teams must be suffering from a "massive headache", according to Racing Point technical boss Andy Green. While admitting to Auto Motor und Sport that the $145 million spending cap for 2021 will require some reorganization, Green said the Silverstone based team actually has a smaller budget than that. "Our first analysis suggests that we are keeping our philosophy," he said.

"But we have only known these rules for four weeks, and so we have to understand them in better detail," added Green, referring to the way the rules were tweaked for the corona crisis. But Green did admit that he is glad he is not in charge of a top team right now.

"I would have a headache, a massive headache," he said. "But these people are not stupid. I think they already know exactly where to cut back and where the focus and core business will be in the future. "For us, the cost cap is still above our budget."

But even though the big teams will have to shrink in size and spending, Green is not expecting the hierarchy to immediately change. "These things always take time to break through," he said. "On the track, we will probably only see the first real impact in 2023."

If you're swimming deep in the ocean

you can't fall in or out of it, just like true love.

One day I had to embrace a brand new point of view

and erase everything but good days with you.

I said, “I'm not afraid, throw my sad stories away

and let the good things come my way.”

You're lying in the sunshine or right through your tears

you're making shadows around me.

So take your left hand from your right one

and guide your own self on home to me.

Oh darlin' don't you be afraid.

throw your sad stories away

and let those good things come your way.

We never see things how they truly are

We seem 'em how we are.

So right now you're lookin' fine.

And the truth is in my heart of hearts

I only hold on to the sweetest part of you.

I won't be afraid, throw my sad stores away

and let those good things come my way.

Those pictures were taken around India by my late brother John Cashin (R.I.P. Murdered in the Impalla Hotel, Chennai, India whilst on holidays - New Years Eve 1997) There has never been an arrest.

These days, its the same routine: Laptop, books, notebooks, writing utensils, calculator, chocolate milk and something to eat!

I like this spot, nice view and such a calm place to sit and study!

A war memorial to those who died in World War I will take pride of place in Blackburn’s new town centre Cathedral Quarter development.

The memorial has been given a facelift, with the names of those died during the great war re-inscribed, re-bronzing of the plaques and replacement of the ‘Sword of Sacrifice’ which decorated the monument.

Originally located at the Church of Saint Michael’s and All Angels in Whalley New Road the memorial was first unveiled in 1920.

Following the church’s demolition it was moved to the grounds of Blackburn Cathedral until work started on the new development in 2014.

The memorial is reminiscent of the great cenotaph in Whitehall, London, with its four-sided obelisk design and a large base with an inscription that reads ‘In honour of the men who fell in the Great War 1914-1919’.

The names of the fallen are carved on the remaining three sides although before the restoration work many had worn away.

The Council with members from the Local History Society, Staff and Volunteers from the Central Library and with time given from members of the public have been researching the names of the fallen from the parish.

Through best endeavours 195 names have been identified and special thanks goes to Ray Smith, Stephen Smith, Mary Painter, Maurice Whelan, Alan Barry and the relatives of the deceased that have been in contact.

Those are lens flares. I don't understand it either.

Apologies in advance to those of a delicate nature who are offended either by the content or the lousy quality. Oddly enough, we took a mourning dove to the emergency vet a couple of weeks ago and happened to arrive just as another person was bringing in a red hawk to be picked up by wildlife rescue. I guess everything balances out in the end.

Check out those segmented antennae, compound eye, and fuzz!

This bee was imaged using an electron micrscope, after being sputter coated with a very fine layer of gold. She was infected with Deformed Wing Virus, a common bee virus transmitted by Varroa destructor, or varroa mites. Infected bees often have wing deformities which prevent them from flying, and will wander away from the hive to die. This particular bee is from my hive in West Oakland, CA. She's a bit smaller than most domesticated bees because she was raised in small cell comb.

Best angle I could get of them wide.
