The most beautiful mule of them all, Guccis N Diamonds, before a race at Fairplex Park in Pomona, California, U.S.A. (Sept. 22, 2007)

I am an equal opportunity color discriminator. I like gray mules just as much as gray horses!

Here Duck Duck shows off those wings, very impressive Duck Duck.

One more trip out to Brooks Falls in the morning with lots of bears in action, fishing, and patrolling the falls. Photo taken in Katmai National Park, Alaska.

Those moments when you forget what's happening around ...

THE BLEEDERS.

Those pesky little Bleeders thought they could come down from Glasgow to entertain the Paisley fans as they supported the punk legend and ex Sex Pistols original bass player Glen Matlock. Well they did and they looked like they had a great time too boot…..

Jackson Harvey and Daniel McGuiga’s guitar and drum band went on stage just after 8pm dressed in bark capes with bleeding black and red eye makeup after Drummer Daniel told me their style of music was a mix of punk and country. Both members joked with themselves and the fans in between songs while Daniels guitar went throw a bass and guitar amp resulting in the lower strings sounding like a bass as he played single notes. And for a two peace band they had a full lively sound while mixing in samples from kids yelling to segments of music that had the crowds well entertained.

At one point in the show Jack ran off stage in the middle of one of their songs and straight into the toilet while still playing his guitar that had the audience laughing. Only for Daniel to say on his return, “I hope you washed your hands” that brought further laughter from the crowds. Drummer Daniel later told me Jack got a new wireless radio jack plug for his guitar and it was all spontaneous and good banter with the fans.

This once four piece band exited stage left around 8.40pm and in no way were intimidated by the fans or what was still to come and why everyone was at the Bungalow bar as they left with a smile on their faces and chuffed to have supported on of punks greats bands members…

A cracking night folks and all good fun and why people need to get out their and support their local venues and live music..

…………

By the way folks, if you like the photos leave a review or a star or two on my Google page which is much appreciated.

Those Darlins at Know Good Beer Festival :: IX Art Park :: Charlottesville VA

There's a stranger staring at me, his gaze is steady and true

I can not help but wonder if he's happy or he is blue?

The eyes are so familiar, his face I've seen before

Somehow it's changed a bit. He sure is hard to ignore.

If only I could I remember where the man is from

I think I must know him and feeling sort of dumb.

I think I recognized him, but he has grown old it seems

Could he have been in my past or maybe from my dreams?

Oh Gosh, I think I know him. I'm sure I know his name

It's me I fear that's watching. That's the man I became.

What happened to my young face? Where did it disappear?

The face that looks at me now is old and worn, it appears.

The mirror doesn't show it, all the fun and love I've had

It just tells me, I'm past it all and looking sort of sad.

I guess I'll learn to live with what age and years effects

The good thing is I'm still here even if I'm quite a wreck.

Those darker green hexies are actually grey-blue and don't contrast as much as it looks like in the photo.

I visited the IMM 2014 and I want to show you what inspired me on this furniture fair.

Grizzly bear munching on salmonberries on a gorgeous summer day in Alaska. This blonde guy was near the roadside somewhere not too far from the Teklanika campground and rest area. He didn't look up very often, just had his head buried in the bushes.

One of those periodic fd's thaaangs where everyone's images show up as being in Explore.

This is the first page of mine (couldn't be bothered saving the other 75!); and the selection is quite OK - most of my personal faves are in there, along with all 8 of mine to have ever appeared in Explore.

And, yes - there's already a Forum thread with people worrying about Explore / Scout being "broken"...

Those are the original sealed Kodak rechargeable batteries, wonder if they still work!
