Recall those days,
look back on all those times,
think of the things we'll never do,
there will never be a day when
I won't think of you...
-Phantom of the Opera
This is my favorite song from the soundtrack of Phantom of the Opera. What's yours?
HPPT!
Shot in my dining room with a timer. Camera on top of a piece of tall furniture. No cropping done.
Not to be confused with what babies think.
I think here is plenty of potatoes for you guys to cook dinner tonight~~~ hehe...
Have a great day my dear friends!
I think I've created a monster! Shantel hadn't shot in about 20 years until we hooked up and now it's like we're shooting 1-2 times a month. I'm not complaining at all - she gets better and more comfortable at each shoot. This shoot she started off wearing flannel and then tried on a fun coat that she fell in love with. We ended up in a chicken coop. Don't ask. We did this shoot in late November and it was definitely cold outside. The things we do for art!
I think this crossing is as iconic as the scramble at Shibuya.
This crossing into the Kabukicho area is busy - and exciting. There's Don Quixote to the right, and straight ahead, the promises of good times...

I think the German name prettyfoot fits very well. Finding him is always a pleasure.
Der Schönfussröhrling ist für den Kochtopf nicht geeignet. Er soll zwar in der Naturheilkunde in geringen Mengen eingesetzt werden. Mir reicht schon der optische Genuss.
Stack with 22 single shots.
Climbing apple tree (I think) in the beautiful walled garden at Felbrigg Hall near the Norfolk coast. The house dates from the 17th century.
I loved the colour and texture of these ancient bricks - all those holes from centuries of banging in nails to support different climbing plants!
Possibly the remains of a Blackbirds nest which will hopefully have new occupants once there is a bit more growth to hide it.
I think the issue start at home. As you may notice, parents give their kids’ phone from an early age that did not overpass two years. Can you believe it! Much research proves that they could have negative effects in the future like « Concentration difficulty, Increased mental laziness, Difficult to make friends in real life,… »
ELECTRONIC SOUL.
Phones are now a day more sophisticated and developed that help every person to reach anyone anywhere at any moment, but the question remains: why the medium who gathers us disperses us? Are smartphones killing the planet faster than anyone expected? Is that logical?!
The world is progressing very fast in all fields, involving technology. The phone was developing so rapidly over the last few years. It became more closely embedded in our day-to-day lives than ever before, and I could describe the propagation of smartphones as plague, Speedy, and quiet. So I wanted to intervene in that by giving a voice to a subject that has had no voice.
When we’re looking at these images, we’re looking at how Chinese citizens are addicted to their phones, therefore I want from my project to enlighten this current issue, also the dangers that could generate from this issue like depression, loneliness, ...
If you told me back in 2000 what these devices would be capable of in around 20 years, I’d call you crazy, and I wouldn’t be alone. Back then, no one could have predicted the impact phones would have on our lives. It would have sounded like science fiction. This got me thinking: What will smartphones of the future change in our habitude as humans?

Here it is the long awaited X-01...
I think I started this fig like 3 or more months ago, and I had put it aside till Mclovin announced his Instagram contest. I tried my hardest to finish the fig but to my dismay I couldn't. Anyways let's get to the fig.
This power armors paint job is based off a mod I found, where it added an Enclave color scheme. It looked real cool so I tried it out and it turned out amazing!
This definitely has to be one of my favorite customs to date. Everything just turned out awesome. I personally think the torso looks really clean and we'll done. The helmet was very difficult to make as there weren't a lot of reference pictures, but I was able to make it look pretty good. Everything seen was sculpted with Procreate and Greenstuff and painted with Apple Barrel, Anita, and Citadel paints.
The laser rifle is technically a mod since it has brickarms parts but it's mainly hand made its composed of plastic card, procreate, paper clips and a brickarms ppsh. This was a really fun mod to make and I hope you guys enjoy it!
Also I whipped up a quick scenery piece showing a vault door, it's not the best but it'll do :P
Hope you guys enjoy this custom as much as I do. This is my second figure for Project Purity, next is Ulssyes from The Long Road. Comments and faves appreciated!
P.S I took inspiration from Mason Gedert for the helmet, I probably wouldn't have made it without him so thanks Mason!
This is my final entry into Daring Customs' Animation Contest.
DADDY: “Paddy, I think it’s time to stop our walk now, go home and have a cup of tea and some cake. What do you think?”
PADDY: “Oh yes Daddy! That sounds like an excellent idea! All this walking is giving me a grumbly tummy!”
DADDY: “Thinking of grumbly tummies… do you know where Scout and Algie are?”
PADDY: “They were just behind us, Daddy, but they might have stopped to smell some flowers or play hide-and-seek. Would you like me to go and fetch them, Daddy?”
DADDY: “Oh if you would, that would be most helpful. Thank you Paddy!”
PADDY: “Scout! Algie! Where are you? Where are you?” *Looks around but doesn’t see either bear.* “Scout! Algie! It’s time to go home! Daddy is going to make tea and serve cake!”
SCOUT: “Boo Paddy!”
ALGIE: “We are up here, Paddy!” *Giggles.*
PADDY: “Goodness Scout and Algie! You startled me!” *Fans chest with paw.* “What monkey business are you up to up there?”
SCOUT: “Well, it’s funny you should mention monkey business, Paddy. We are visiting my friend!”
PADDY: “You monkey friend, Scout? Who? Chippy didn’t come for a walk with us.”
SCOUT: “This one!” *Taps smiling wooden monkey nailed to a tree trunk.* “He isn’t Chippy, but I think he might be related to Chippy the monkey who lives in the front room at home.”
PADDY: *Looks.* “Hhhmmm… he does look a little like him a little. What is his name?”
ALGIE: “We don’t know, Paddy. He doesn’t talk much.”
SCOUT: “I’m concerned about him, Paddy.”
PADDY: “Why, Scout?”
SCOUT: “Well,” *Looks at wooden monkey, then looks back at Paddy and whispers.* “He’s awfully thin, Paddy.”
ALGIE: “Thin, Scout!” *Loudly.* “He’s positively skinny!”
SCOUT: “Ssshhh Algie!” *Puts paw to mouth. Whispers.* “You might upset him.” *Looks in concern at monkey.*
ALGIE: *Quietly.* “I invited him to come home with us and have something to eat, even though we don’t know his name, but he doesn’t seem that interested.”
PADDY: *Considers* “Well he seems happy enough to me. Maybe he wants to stay here. After all this tree is his home, and he may be too shy to speak to you Scout. You were shy once too. Remember?”
ALGIE: “You were shy once, Scout?”
PADDY: “He was, and he would barely ever say anything.”
SCOUT: “But that didn’t last long.”
PADDY: “Indeed it didn’t, Scout.”
ALGIE: “Thank goodness! I can’t imagine you being quiet, Scout!”
SCOUT: “Oh, nor can I, Algie, not now!”
PADDY: “Come on you two, Daddy wants to go home and have tea and cake. Say goodbye to your monkey friend.”
ALGIE: “Goodbye little monkey. It was lovely to meet you, even if you are rather quiet.”
SCOUT: “Goodbye little friend. We’ll see you again when we next come walking this way.” *Kisses monkey and then looks down.* “Um Paddy?”
PADDY: “Yes Scout?”
SCOUT: “How do we get down, Paddy?”
ALGIE: “We are stuck, Paddy!”
PADDY: “Oh no! I’ll go and fetch Daddy!”
SCOUT and ALGIE: “Thank you Paddy!”
My Paddington Bear came to live with me in London when I was two years old (many, many years ago). He was hand made by my Great Aunt and he has a chocolate coloured felt hat, the brim of which had to be pinned up by a safety pin to stop it getting in his eyes. The collar of his mackintosh is made of the same felt. He wears wellington boots made from the same red leather used to make the toggles on his mackintosh.
He has travelled with me across the world and he and I have had many adventures together over the years. He is a very precious member of my small family.
Scout was a gift to Paddy from my friend. He is a Fair Trade Bear hand knitted in Africa. His name comes from the shop my friend found him in: Scout House. He tells me that life was very different where he came from, and Paddy is helping introduce him to many new experiences. Scout catches on quickly, and has proven to be a cheeky, but very lovable member of our closely knit family.
Algie is made by the same friend in England who made Jago, Daisy-Maud, Orson and Danny Boy. He is made of sparse English mohair, has paws of ultra suede and eyes of glass. A very adventurous little boy, he loves to climb and sit on top of gates, edges of tables and chairs. He adore climbing trees and will cheekily sit there with crossed legs. He's very friendly and he loves adventures of any kind.
...but don't forget to live in today, because there is yet so much beauty to discover

I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in.

A friend asked me to think about doing a large canvas for their new kitchen, it had lots of lime colours...
So...a lime!? Seemed like the obvious choice!
Taken using my Nikon D90, with a Nikkor 18-55 F/3.5-5.6 lens plus macro filter. Also used a Bowens Gemini 500 flash head with small softbox.
Image was enhanced in Lightroom, then transferred to Photoshop where I added the 'fire/flame' style using 'Fractalius' from Redfield... great plug-in! Then back into Lightroom for a little more clarity/colour adjustment.
Looking forward to seeing this one on a very large canvas or perspex wall print.
