I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands sayin how do you do
But they're really saying I love you.
I hear babies cry, and I watched them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
Yes, I think to myself what a wonderful world.
(Lyrics from "Wonderful World")

Didn't think he'd make it to his birthday. The polyps in the nose are still inflamed. I have to wipe his nose a lot. Still on prednisone and an antibiotic every few weeks. He doesn't eat much, but he still seems to enjoy life. Still following me like a dog and still playing now and then.
Also see the previous image of him I have posted.

I think I might be revisiting this shot in the future to improve it somewhat, but for a first attempt it worked okay. Helped having a second pair of hands, and 4 lights for a change!

When we imagine backwoods, we think of dry places (no rain), arid land, dry trees and a very strong sun, and that's actually it, but we also find places like this, very beautiful, different from the image pattern of the sertão, so we thought, everywhere, however difficult it may be, there are beauties, which sometimes hidden, make us fall in love with the place. This is a sink with its main natural formation, and modified by the owner of this farm, placing some protective walls, and adding passages between locations. Even with the artificial modification, the place is beautiful, it is in the neighborhood of Canoa, in the city of Coronel João Sá, Bahia, Brazil. Here is a place to think, rest, sunbathe, take a shower and so on. I made several images of this place, but this one caught my attention, in my mind, it's like a paradise!
I'm sure many would be sitting on a bench here and think along with 'The Thinker'
For me it's a paradise with all that nature all around...
well decorated and thought over, by Una & Bo.
An amazing sim to explore ..... and be sure.....
every time you go back... you discover new hidden corners.
Some History:
Rodin's The Thinker was originally part of The Gates of Hell which was completed on commission in 1882. What became known as The Thinker was originally intended to represent the poet Dante as he contemplated writing The Divine Comedy, on which The Gates of Hell was based.
“Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone is a writer, some are written in the books and some are confined to hearts.”

Storyteller
“I think you’re a fairy tale. I think you’re magical, and brave, and exquisite. And I hope you'll let me be in your story.”

You would never guess that these 2 were trying to solve the worlds problems. Or maybe they are just watching the sunset together and enjoying that last ray of light.... Ok maybe Bodhi's mom is standing there with a couple of treats.

I think the word "Alone" has been touched on over and over in this series of photos, however it needs it's own space because it may be the hardest of all the pills to swallow. It's one thing to go through a situation where you've lost everything, but to go through it by yourself is by far the worst feeling in the world. Often times what separates those who make it back on their feet, to those who never recover, is one simple thing. Support.
We're all different people, and everyone who falls has their own reasons for falling. One thing we all have in common though is that any single one of our individual falls can be broken up by another person choosing to get involved. What hurts more than anything in the world is falling, and seeing everyone you ever considered a friend just watching. No one offering to help, no one trying to prevent or even slow your decent, just watching, pitying, and coldly turning the other cheek. There's no feeling lonelier in the world than knowing in your time of need, when it's finally YOU who needs help, that everyone, even the ones you helped at points when you stood tall and they needed a hand, will just let you fall.
If you know someone who is struggling, no matter what that struggle is, let them know you see them. If you care about them, let them know. You might be the reason they recover, you might be all they needed, but you'll never know unless you try.

While most people think of toads as land creatures hopping about in the woods, there are also aquatic toads sharing a similar relationship to fresh water habitats as frogs.
This aquatic toad is sunbathing on a hyacinth plant, joined by a young frog on a leaf less than an inch away. It’s interesting that the small frog chose to keep company with the much larger toad, considering unoccupied vegetation was available. Perhaps their similar color made the frog believe they were part of the same species.
The dark lumps on the toad are actually glands growing outside the body.
Beneath the toad is a leaf containing several frog eggs. The minute plants clinging to this leaf and floating above the toad are duckweed.
I don't think that i have ever had more birds in the garden than this year, mainly great tits, sparrows and blackbirds. The blackbirds have been rare for years and I'm happy that they are back, Tofu is even more excited than I am and spends hours watching them. They often land on the lawn to look for insects and worms and could be an easy prey for a cat. Luckily Tofu enjoys observing birds much more than chasing them.
