I think this was my favourite week! This is the Guardian of Lost Treasures. Look closely, you will see all sorts of misplaced items; buttons, brooches, feathers, keys, even a pocket watch. Should you lose something precious, call upon the Guardian as she is sure to have found it!
Think this is the P.S, Waverley passing the Holy Isle. Taken by my late Father and Scanned by myself from his 35mm Slide

"I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree."
Joyce Kilmer

Those viewers who are particularly observant may notice something special about this falls.
In addition to being a cracking good autumn shot of Harrison Wright Falls in Ricketts Glen State Park, it also happens to be the same falls as my flickr photo icon.
Remember when I said that the original owner of the park (R. Bruce Ricketts) named the falls after various Indian tribes, and friends and family? I've posted many of the Indian tribe falls so far, but I think this is the first "friend" falls in my current series. Just a little trivia for you trivia fans...
We need to take more than one step at the time, if we want a life without breast cancer.
October is International Breast Cancer Awareness month.
I think I pretty much like how it came out. Background (texture) is a photo of sky I took yesterday :) I try to make shots of everything and use them as textures, starting from blankets, papers, sky... etc. They can turn normal photo into something unusual. Anyway.... Hope you all had a wonderful weekend <3
When I graduated high school my dad told me we are immigrants and destined to enjoy minimum wage of this country & my ambitions are too high ... just to think on how many things in life I would miss (including Italy) if I actually had obedient personality & listened to him. Yes we can live our lives without taking chances, being scared to look stupid, naive, crazy or strange. And, yes, we will lead perfectly not “unhappy” lives but that’s not what having ONE life is about ♥️💙♥️
In the swirling, curling storm of desire unuttered words hold fast
With reptile tongue, the lightning lashes towers built to last
Darkness creeps in like a thief and offers no relief
Why are you shaking like a leaf
Come on, come talk to me
Peter Gabriel Come Talk To Me Lyrics
I don't talk to flowers, they talk to me and I gladly listen!
You can see for yourself that this Rococo Parrot tulip was thinking, waiting patiently for me to get the lights right!!!
For years I 'experimented' in the studio, to get that Flemish painter's light? Well, I was born in Flanders, it must be in my blood? LOL.

Lead and enjoy a good life, do and say things that enrich... and do not forget to tell the people close to you, how much you love them!
With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, and welcoming me back, M, (* _ *)

WHAT PART of DO NOT USE is it that you DO NOT UNDERSTAND?
I find my images on numerous blogs and websites EVERY DAY, without my permission!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why not view the set as a slide-show?
Also I often upload more than one image at the same time, I see a tendency to only view the last uploaded...
Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month I thought I would post some pink macros in support of a dear friend of mine.
I think I've created a monster! Shantel hadn't shot in about 20 years until we hooked up and now it's like we're shooting 1-2 times a month. I'm not complaining at all - she gets better and more comfortable at each shoot. This shoot she started off wearing flannel and then tried on a fun coat that she fell in love with. We ended up in a chicken coop. Don't ask. We did this shoot in late November and it was definitely cold outside. The things we do for art!
Shot in my dining room with a timer. Camera on top of a piece of tall furniture. No cropping done.
Not to be confused with what babies think.
So this is pretty much sooc apart from tones..
