Today, out of the blue, I suddenly fancied a trip to London Zoo !
This beautiful piece was found on the street in the 90ties... the young men who sold it came from from Senegal or Cameroon: one said Cameroon and the other one Senegal so... I never found out where they or the sculpture really came from.

Number 25 in my Project 50.
I literally threw this together in 5 minutes after getting in. I had a great evening out, having a few drinks with @simianstudios, @therulebook & the @standardistas. Lots to talk about and plenty of stories from the past.
It got me thinking about the industry on the walk home, hence this came about.
I wanted to use my flash, and also do a self portrait... along with the ideas from this evening, it all got me thinking.

...or Le Pensevr, as it is really called. This statue sits out in the middle of a garden in the Rodin Museum in Paris, France.

The athletic nudity of The Thinker seems to allude to the ancient belief that a healthy mind should reside in a healthy body. The right elbow on the left thigh creates a torsion that, together with the forward-leaning pose, sets the figure in motion.

Old Father time checked, so there'd be no doubt;
