Our Daily Challenge ... wild things.
Not sure if this is a dragon fly or a damselfly but it is resting on a Hippeastrum.

Here is an idea that I've had in my brain for quite a while. There is a story that goes with it. I forewarn you...it's a lot of reading, but it you want to know where the idea came from, or just what the MOC as a whole means, head here: www.mocpages.com/moc.php/407756
“Things are pretty, graceful, rich, elegant, handsome, but until they speak to the imagination, not yet beautiful”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Strange things happen at the lake…” that’s the warm advice we received before venturing into the wilderness of South Australia’s remote Lake Gairdner.
Our night was fortunately free of strange happenings but if a UFO was ever looking for an easy place to touch down on earth this giant salt lake would have to be in travel guide.
Needless to say – this lake does not have a Kangaroo warning sign perched in the middle of it – I thought I would have some fun and add a little point of interest for this image. I hope you’re ok with it..
View large and, as always, thanks for looking!

We had our first big snow of the season and it blanketed the landscape with a foot of beautiful snow!
I hope that all is well, I have been extremely busy and an preparing to go to Washington DC this weekend to see my image being used by the US Navy Band during their Holiday Concert at DAR Constitution Hall! I am super excited and of course will be bringing my camera!
I will be catching up with everyone before Christmas, in the meantime sending holiday blessings to each of you!
a ficus tree bought from a neighbor, and a carpet ordered via Etsy - making this space cozier for winter!
I attended a farm auction and they were selling the house also with all the stuff inside. I was really drawn to these jeans and clothing that have probably been hanging there for quite a few years. I didn't venture further into the house though..

Spectacular view during a Hurtigruten Cruise along the Norwegian Coastline. There was Rain throughout the Day, but around 21:30 the Clouds began to disappear and an awesome "lightshow" began.....
This little thing has kept me sane during this extended lockdown... no doubt speaking to like minded people here.
He was simply and staunchly true to his duty alike in the large case and in the small. So all true souls ever are. So every true soul ever was, ever is, and ever will be. There is nothing little to the really great in spirit.
