Stuff on our refrigerator. I bought the egg clock from Cosas. The miniature art in the upper right corner is from meArtDesign at Etsy.

mean a lot!

Scares you to know that we won't be

watching the same sun

or brooding the same thoughts

in the same part of the world

scares me how you get older

how you forget about each other

things mean a lot at the time

don't mean nothing later.."

I wish you a lovely weekend my dear friends!

Things like this are much better appreciated in person.

After spending so much time with my eye to a viewfinder, I'm starting to rediscover that simple, basic truth.

Yesterday, for example, we had one of those moments where the sky is almost black, and then the sun breaks through, and it's late afternoon and the sun's rays are long and red, and it lights up the trees and the garden and a slice of sky... and I was tempted to grab my camera and go out and try to capture it... and then I realized I had no idea what I wanted to shoot to take advantage of the light, and I knew that, by the time I got my shit together the light would probably be gone anyway...

And so... instead of running around, chasing disappointment... I just stood gaping out the window at the lovely light.

The light in this photo is, of course, different light. And looked so much better in reality. Because the beauty of the sky is its vastness, its limitlessness, its endless variation. As soon as you cage it up in a frame, you lose that.

This concludes installment #472 in the series "Reasons I am not taking any pictures right now." Thank you for your time.

Things have Changed.

Just finished watching Season 1 yesterday with my boi Matt. Enjoyed it a lot. Figured I do a Lego fig barf of most of the important characters.

Just outside Queens town. Not to close to the ocean.

Haven't taken a proper picture for days :o This was my two minutes of sun today. Clouds threaten.

This Picture was taken with a Sony A7iii Body and a Samyang 20mm f1.8 Lens

Shot with Leitz SUMMILUX 50/1.4 at f1.4.

I only promise the little things. The big things don't pay attention to what I want anyhow.

Beauty resides in imperfection & chaos is a law of nature. This Hellebore gains distinction from aging. When my life seems like a whirl of chaos, comfort & serenity can be found in my garden.

Hello and welcome to a day where I steal other people's ideas and make them slightly different!

HaphazardPanda (flickr/Instagram/white hood post) posted a great rendition of Ghost from the MCU, and I thought it would look great with the new Spider-Gwen hood (and a few other changes). I definitely wish I had those Sensei Wu CMF printed arms right now though. Anyway, go check out their other stuff!

ethanhkonno_3047f9 (Instagram) posted a great version of Peacemaker with a lovely head/helmet combo. I switched it up a little but it's pretty solid on its own. Anyway, go check out their other stuff!

fjj_customs (Instagram) made a great figure for AotC C-3PO. I had the idea to add the Iron Man Mark 1 leg and made some other color adjustments, but obviously it was a great fig in the first place, especially the hip idea. Anyway, go check out their other stuff!

Sorry for being MIA lately, I have just moved back to Sydney and I'm only now starting to unpack and get my things sorted. I've started working on my doll display shelf too, which I am very excited about. It does seem, however, that I am short of 5 clover stands. Does anyone have any spare, lol?

Remember, you can answer this as yourself, a fictional character, a historical figure, one of your characters, or Maybe even as another flickr member.....or if you think of another option 乁(⌣ل͜⌣”)ㄏ

If you wanted, you could answer as a character but only give the book or show title and have people guess the character. :)

Feel free to tag others to join in on the game ;)

Things look just as they shoild with Illinois Central E8A 4028 and E9A 4039 getting serviced at Central Station in Chicago, but this slide is from Nov 1971, so this is an Amtrak scene and pretty much everything in this pic will be gone in the next few years. I love prime lenses, and I normally lean towards the telephoto end, so it was quite a shock to the system to use a wide angle zoom the other day in Worthing. I've had the lens for years, but rarely used it. It's probably not something I'll do very often, but it was certainly interesting to view the world in a different way.
