The sun was shining, the locos were clean, the sun was in the right place, and even the trains were a decent length.
Now we're in lockdown. I'm assuming the occasional pointing of a camera out the house window isn't a violation of that....

It’s just an old grain structure on a country backroad, but it seemed interesting enough for a shot. Rusting away, abandoned....but striking against a blue fall sky, at least to me.
It's been such an interesting year, a very sad year, a year of happy things, and a year of discovery. Just like any other year i suppose, the best thing for me is that i discovered flickr and from just putting in some family shots for close friends to see i am now the owner of my lovely Nikon, looking at the world through the camera lens which makes it a more beautiful place, and wealthier in that i have met some amazing people who have encouraged me all the way. Thank you all - its been a great journey. I will be away now for 3 weeks in Florida and will take some pictures which i hope you will come over and see when i come back. HAPPY SNAPPING ALL. Forest Tent Caterpillar Moth, Malacosoma disstria, one above and one below the leaf. Reminded me of that engaging but creepy US TV series about another world connected to ours, but somehow upside down.

Once, there was a boy who wanted to change the world & at first, he thought it’d be easy, because if everyone could see how beautiful it’d be, it’d take about a minute, but all the people he talked to were too busy to stop and listen.
