“Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower, and draws all good things toward you. Allow your love to nourish yourself as well as others. Do not strain after the needs of life. It is sufficient to be quietly alert and aware of them. In this way life proceeds more naturally and effortlessly. Life is here to Enjoy!”
- Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

It's the sound of the rain coming down when you fall asleep
It's a call from a friend that you love, but never get to see
All the time you can waste tryna chase what you'll never need
Hope you back around to simple things.

Close to the Bit Bazar and not far from the Roman Forum, Thessaloniki. A junk dealer asleep, among all his things - books, pictures, bric-a-brac, antique stuff, household utensils, second-hand clothing and much more. There are no customers. I wonder what he is dreaming of whilst the world is spinning round and round. Leica M8, Voigtlaender 35/1.4.

I had the hay in the room and I think I can still smell it. I kept it, maybe I can use it for decoration at some point. The other items left overs from recent Macro Mondays.
New Brighton and red cranes,
And slow moving water,
Looking out to the sea,
Yes I am a ship spotter,
High tide and sunrise, I love all that it brings,
These are a few of my favourite things.....
Lockdown cabin fever has paid a visit to the McCabe household this morning:)
An attempt at abstraction and minimalism, after an attempt at something entirely different failed miserably.
A brief departure from the comfort zone.
I have finally bought a new Catwa head. I have been in love with my Lona head, and have yet to find one to compare to it. Well yesterday I demoed the Keme head and bought it this morning and made some minor tweaks. So here is the new me, in what I have to say a pic I really enjoyed making and I really like the way it came out. So be sure to pop on over to my blog where you can get all the details.. justapeeksite.wordpress.com/2018/02/17/peek-87/
These tiny little bowls (I have 12 in all) were a gift from an aunt. I’ve tried to find out about them but the most I could find was that they’re probably Chinese export porcelain made in the 1950’s. Each one is hand painted with a different figure with some tiny Chinese (I think) writing next to each one. I’d love to know what the words say so if any of you can understand the one you can see I’d be really interested!!

Once, there was a boy who wanted to change the world & at first, he thought it’d be easy, because if everyone could see how beautiful it’d be, it’d take about a minute, but all the people he talked to were too busy to stop and listen. So, he went off & did beautiful things all on his own & pretty soon people were stopping and asking if they could come along & do that, too & that’s how he figured out how worlds change.
