“There are so many fragile things, after all. People break so easily, and so do dreams and hearts.”
~ Neil Gaiman
Let go of the memories that cause you pain. Only the good memories should stay in your mind.

Demogorgons are pretty strange. Kids falling in love shouldn't be.

CN L517 heads south through Ivanhoe with a GTW GP9r, CN SD60F, and a CN SD40-2. Originally the SD60F was supposed to lead but they put the GTW unit on the front.
When you came in the air went out
And every shadow filled up with doubt
I don't know who you think you are
But before the night is through
I wanna do bad things with you
I'm the kind to sit up in his room
Heart sick an' eyes filled up with blue
I don't know what you've done to me
But I know this much is true
I wanna do bad things with you, okay
When you came in the air went out
And all those shadows there filled up with doubt
I don't know who you think you are
But before the night is through
I wanna do bad things with you
I wanna do real bad things with you
I don't know what you've done to me
But I know this much is true
I wanna do bad things with you
I wanna do real bad things with you

There was a debate in my house about when to take the Christmas decorations down. In the end, we took down half of them one day, the other half the next day. . We invested in a really useful bauble box some years ago and we placed them gently into this. Then up in the attic they go until next Christmas. One last chance to shine here.
Seeking an escape from time was foreign to the anticipatory faith of Abraham, Moses, the prophets, and Jesus. What their faith sought was not an escape from time but time’s fulfillment. Time, at least in prophetic faith, is not to be avoided but cherished as the necessary medium for the swelling of expectation.
Time is something to be indwelled, not sloughed off; and deep time is a fertile field for nurturing an ever-more-expansive anticipatory faith. The mystery of God, in this setting, is not to be explored primarily by returning to origins. Nor does the mystery of God need to be located up above, or hidden inside human subjectivity. These may be important portals to the experience of God, but as I have been proposing, we may look for God especially in the unfathomed depths of the hidden future to which the universe is now awakening. It is to the Absolute Future that we may still lift up our hearts.

Took the camera along today walking the dogs in a local park as I missed the opportunity yesterday with them and the colors are starting to change on some of the trees, the pretty clouds made for some fun captures while waiting for the sun to pop out between the clouds.
Captured with the CPL filter.
This cute Sulphur-Crested-Cockatoo was keeping himself warm. It was a very cold day, the sun was out but sadly it didn't warm up things very well.
My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.
-- Albert Einstein
Whats that saying about one mans junk is another mans treasure? I guess that can be just about anything in life. Including the people we keep close to us. So many people get tossed away and then one day, that person can be found by another and mean the whole world to them.
A lot of the items I adore in second life, some would be like "that is wayyy too shabby", me however, I see the simplicity of things. What they once were and what they are now. Lets start this post with HIDEKI

They say collect memories, not things... but what use are memories really? Violette has centuries of memories and they do her no favours. She likes things 🔺

Don't lose hope...
Please believe there a thousand beautiful things waiting for you.
Sunshine comes to all who feel rain.
The summer of 87' is in full swing.
A man walks out of the local Friendly's after some fried clam strips and a root beer float with a big happy smile across his face. Another fills his tank with 79 cent per gallon petrol and grabs a pack of Winstons for a buck nineteen.
The Chrysler product in the street was the standard police vehicle for the era. Coming from AMC's radio is the Las Lobos cover of "La Bamba" followed by The Grateful Dead's "Touch of Grey",....on the same station. All this while a Boston & Maine bright blue EMD geep powers through New Hartford, NY ready to drop a lumber car by the station with New York, Susquehanna & Western train UT1.
A shot from 35 years ago and all these simple things roll through my mind as I look at it.
