This is a photo of my Pop (dad) in his restored 1939 Ford. My great-grandfather bought it new in 1938 and it remained in our family for three generations. When Pop received it (in the late 1980s), he spent several years lovingly restoring and finished off by painting it his favorite color - metallic purple!
Processed with Kim Klassen's "Sunday" and "Naturally" textures.
This cocktail, with alcohol, was delightful! It was prosecco over raspberry sorbet. Delicious. It took me back to childhood, holidays by the seaside and little cafes selling ice cream floats! Yum! As children, my brother, sister and I thought we were so lucky when we got one.

Journalling reads: You have always been really afraid of heights. But you would never admit that in front of Conor. When he headed off up the rope climbing frame you were quick to go right up behind him. You managed to climb all the way up to the first seating level and then you made yourself comfortable to watch Conor climb right to the top.

I did this last week for TT, but it is the same for KK's Beyond Layers lesson b&w + color - I converted it to b&w and then masked the "Lady Jane" and the float back in.
I am a little late with this week's image for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday. I missed last week completely. The challenge this week was gardening. My cousin grows this wisteria out on the swimming pool deck. I shot it with a Lensbaby Composer and Fisheye Optic.
