7 Days of Shooting –
Curved masonry such as bridges will work for this week. Curved structures can contain architectural arches and what about your feet - or maybe someone else’s feet. Look around, we can find arches in the most unusual places and maybe not too far from our own homes!
using old photos this week.
Texture used : kk_touchof-1 and kk_touch
Worked on Hue/ Saturation and on Levels

Too many wonderful flowers to photograph...this is another from my garden...this year they just keep coming it's fabulous...my mum always tells me to dig this one up as the leaves look like a sycamore tree !!! and each year I tell her no it's a beautiful purple flower....I think they are Japanese Anemone and are so pretty.

My office building is being redecorated. It is a little weird to see it in unfamiliar colors and without the familiar bumps and scratches.

Week #47 (w/b 31 May) Shadows - A strong light source will create great shadows so if you are lucky to be in bright sunshine this week then you should have no difficulty finding them. If your weather is not favourable for shadows then indoor lighting will create nicely defined shadows. Shadows can add so much to an image, they can highlight emotions, create surreal photographs and of course shadows themselves create fascinating photos. Please note that silhouettes are not considered to be shadows!

A granite mausoleum in the small local cemetery. The granite has an interesting texture and the lichens enhance the effect.

This is a photo of my Pop (dad) in his restored 1939 Ford. My great-grandfather bought it new in 1938 and it remained in our family for three generations. When Pop received it (in the late 1980s), he spent several years lovingly restoring and finished off by painting it his favorite color - metallic purple!
Processed with Kim Klassen's "Sunday" and "Naturally" textures.
