for 7DoS: I was planning to use this shot on Friday but the dreaded tax deadline is looming ever closer and I daren't get my camera out and start playing with shoes, until that form is completed! Hopefully there's enough texture on view ...

Dore is on the outskirts of Sheffield and is very much an active village with many traditions. At this time of year, like many other villages the wells are dressed for the gala week.

This detail is from the Well Dressing made by the local Guides and is based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
