These were very popular in the 1960's. This one was made by my MIL back then and concealed the spare toilet roll for many years. We rescued it from the house when we finalised the estate.

7 Days of Shooting/Week #14/Childhood Memory/Texture Tuesday

As a child, I was often to be found with, as my mother have would put it, my nose in a book. I would become so engrossed that I failed to hear that I was being told to set the table or dry the dishes or get ready for bed.

Little Women was a great favourite. I really identified with Jo and indeed played her in an am dram stage adaptation when I was about fifteen.

This copy, a bit battered and worn now, was given to me by my Dad and I can still remember sitting at the kitchen table reading and enjoying it for the first time.

The effect of the frost on the web on the mirror of my car, yesterday morning. It was beautiful, but within 10 minutes of me starting up my engine and driving off, there were just a few strand left. The poor spider created a piece of art and I destroyed it:-(.

7 Days of Shooting – Week #31 (w/b 05 February) Time - tick tock, tick tock ~ yes, clocks, watches or what other ways can we measure time but remember to take time out and breathe as time moves in only one direction!

Apologies for MIA, we are on the move for a few months, will post when I can. Cheers
