Dore is on the outskirts of Sheffield and is very much an active village with many traditions. At this time of year, like many other villages the wells are dressed for gala week.
This detail is from the Well Dressing made by the local Guides and is based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
It seems like an ideal subject for Texture Tuesday.

Day 156 (06.05.2012)
I visited my parents on Sunday and brought home a few of my mother's favorite hydrangea blossoms to put in a vase. Her hydrangeas are always so happy, especially this one whose blossoms are as big as my head!
I felt like doing something a little different today, so I used Kim Klassen's "Trust" texture and added a favorite quote. Hope everyone has a Happy Texture Tuesday and great week!

Took this at the mall. I was thinking about the topic "Pink" and notice the stripe was painted pink....so there you go! Would not have noticed or taken a photo of it otherwise I do enjoy these group challenges as they open my eyes up to other and new things I can take photos of!
This little dog goes most places with me on a daily basis. He's part of my handbag. His nose and ears are a bit the worse for wear, but he never complains!
Daisy sniffing cautiously at her new toy, on top of her scratching arch. I just took the photo in time before she started to rush around playing!

I must apologise to anyone from TT whose pictures are on their blogs - I can't comment, doesn't matter what I try I just get sent repeatedly to the sign in page, I sign in, go back, click comment and back I go to the sign in page again. It's really frustrating as I'd love to be commenting on a lot of the TT images.
Grand Central Terminal is a place I could spend the whole day in. The architecture, old beauty and buzz in the air are a photographer's dream.
